Does anyone know how the flap on the larger tabby compares to cassie? My SA said even though my mom gave me her cassie she found the transaction under her account so could either exchange it for a new cassie or put it towards something different.

I think you might be better off emailing Coach customer service or calling the 1800#. They're very nice and helpful. In the past if the return policy has expired form a department store they've always honored a repair if I purchased from another department store. Unless it's Nordstrom, they have a forever return policy.
I have been using my Cassie almost everyday since the day I got it. Super easy to carry and fits everything I need. After reading in this thread about cracking I went to check my bag and sure enough, a tiny crack in the bend of the flap. I’m mindful and never push/pull the flap too far up when opening as I know it can be a problem with flap style bags and wallets. Honestly, I’m a little bummed. It doesn’t look bad (yet) as I didn’t even notice until reading it here. Otherwise the bag still looks brand new. I purchased from Nordstrom and if it gets worse or starts actually peeling I know it will get taken care of.
Mine has a tiny little divot in the same exact spot. It came like that because I checked it soon as I took all the wrapping off and put my things in it. Hadn't even opened the flap too much. Maybe because it's a new style they weren't aware this happened?
Has is worsened or is it the same as when you received it? I checked mine too when I got it and I didn’t notice anything different from the rest of the glazing. As much as I don’t like that it’s cracked, if it doesn’t worsen or peel, I think I can live with it. You definitely can’t see it when the bag is closed.
I didn't notice it until I saw someone mention it in this thread. It's so small I must've looked right over it. I look over my bags with a fine tooth comb when I get them, even if they're in the manufacturers packaging lol. It hasn't gotten any bigger though but I'm keeping an eye on it!
I just noticed a small crack on mine but honestly am I weird? I don’t really mind too much. It’s so small and unnoticeable unless you zoom in. Other than that the quality is great for the price. I guess I’ll keep an eye on it but I’m not too bothered.
Just got back from Disney Springs Coach store and exchanged my Cassie (Black) with the cracking flap for a new Cassie. While I was there I had my tag monogrammed and bought the Rexy Bag Charm in oil slick.
SA said she hadn't had the returns for the flap "yet" but had a feeling that she will see more.
Fingers crossed this one doesn't. I didn't see any other bag to exchange it for that I love as much as the Cassie.
Side note: My Cassie in Colorblock came see pictures, ordered from Bloomingdale's, flap appeared to be damaged/unfinished straight out of the box. Returning and don't think I will repurchase as this appears to be a common issue with this bag (at least from my perspective)

I agree with you. I was a little bummed when I saw it, but like you I had to go look for it to see it. Unless it worsens to the point of peeling, I’m not going to worry too much. I will be keeping an eye on it though.
Yikes. That looks damaged on my screen, not unfinished. Like maybe something stuck to it and was pulled off peeling the leather? Not sure. I would definitely return. Hopefully the Black has no issues.
Not weird at all!! It's not freaking me out, I'm not returning it. I know Coach will stand by their product if there's an issue down the line. Honestly, its better quality than my LV PM was and it's all leather.
I agree! They have a 1-year warranty so I’ll be sure to check again in a year ;P
