I would think a big difference between the 19 and tabby 26 is that the tabby is a longer bag, and that makes a big difference depending on what you carry. I think the 19 is truly just a scaled down version of the regular Cassie. I use small bags, and it looks a little small to me just because the regular Cassie works just right. For me the 19 might be a little tight. I do know many have liked it though so it must fit what they need. I could probably make it work too but I have a lot of dinky bags so that fits my small bag needs.

Nice to know it’s more of a teal. Teal is one of my favorite colors especially dark teal. Ugh I hate when I receive returns not in the original condition. I return stuff all the time but not in those conditions. Bad returns should be sent to the outlet or marked down. I would complain for a gift card.
Customer Service was nice and at least quick to email a prepaid return label. She noted the account about the store sending it this way and told me to call them when UPS tracking shows received so they can immediately refund/exchange (I don't want another one) instead of waiting the long time to process. I hope that the next rep does follow up on this offer at least.
I have the Cassie 19, and even though it does have the gold chain strap that could be used to dress it up, I wouldn't consider it a "formal" evening bag - I think it's too big. To me, it's more "dressy casual" or "cocktail casual" if you use the chain. Something smaller like a wallet on chain or clutch would be better for a formal evening event. But of course that's only my personal opinion!
I can't tell you how it compares in size to the regular Cassie or the Tabby26, but I can give you a quick rundown of what I've carried in it:
A smaller wallet (bigger than a card holder, but not as big as a full-size wallet)

Even with all that, I still have some room for a couple of small things. I haven't had any issues moving things around to get what I needed in and out. I think it's a really great size!

Has anyone dyed their Cassie? I recently purchased 2 Pebbled Leather Auroras from Macy's, they were $147.00+tax each. Planning to dye Cherry red or Navy. Which dye is best? Thanks

Anyone else get their Cassie from Macy's mailed in a super thin plastic bag that provided absolutely zero protection so you had to cross your fingers as you opened it that it would not have damage?! My aurora arrived in a plastic envelope that is as thin as their store bags and part of the bag was scraped up good. Thankfully my Cassie's hardware was safe, but there is an indentation on the top handle and the strap is kinda twisted. I don't think that indentation will come out. I think I can put a heavy book on the strap to help that twist go back to being straight. Only I would know about the top handle so I will probably keep it since I got it for $80.xx after the giftcard I had. Just really frustrating.
Oh yea...I've dyed two. The red signature one I dyed & its my avatar & my favorite. I also dyed the blue colorblock all black. I used Fiebings dye. You have to seal it (I used resolene) but it worked for me (much better on my siggy combo one than the all black).
