Only I would know about the top handle so I will probably keep it since I got it for $80.xx after the giftcard I had. Just really frustrating.

No but Macys packaging has been terrible since COVID. I received items also in thin plastic bags. However today i received an item packaged in a Macy’s plastic bag in a box. Returned to the store right away!!!

Sounds like it was possibly that way prior to packing it up. That is sad. I don't blame you for wanting to return it. Can you order another?

Was yours packed in a plastic bag/envelope also? There is nothing wrong with having both if you can swing it! There are quite a few of us with more than one Cassie in this thread lol.

Yes it was and they didn’t close the bag back up after barely stuffing it. I know everything is crazy in retail right now but it’s annoying how stuff is being sent.

I’m about to unload all my gwp bags from VS that I don’t use to offset the cost of the pine and wait for a good cashback deal for the 4th of July.

I've painted hardware using Rustoleum & it does ok. It does tend to require touch up from time to time. I did it on these two bags, going from brass to more of a dark copper. The turnlock or snap does ok but where the strap attaches has wear. I find myself not using these bags as much because of the wear.

Ordered mine 2 days ago - waiting on the shipping confirmation. Hoping to have relatively decent packaging experience. Would love some beautiful pine bags to keep my anxiousness down. Thanks, yall!

If you search this thread, there are a couple I believe. Also, there are some YouTube videos (maybe 2, as not many get this color) of pine Cassie. I returned mine because it seemed used (shipped poorly from a store for my online order) and because the color is more teal than I hoped for. I was looking for more of a forest green type color personally. The warehouse received my return today so it will be shipped out to someone else at some point :(

Yeah - I'm noticing it's not that popular, which I think makes sense for folks expected a true green and get teal. I love teal so I'm kind of pumped, but all the shipping posts are worrisome! Sorry you didn't love your Cassie though. I hope you find the pine you're looking for :)
