I back in early 2014 I remember the beautiful @pierina modeling lots of beautiful blue and turquoise scarves. In particular, I remember this Mors et gourmettes remix in a CSGM. Loved this, but by the time I bought my first CSGM in late 2015, this design was no longer in stores. Late last year, I saw one on eBay and clicked BIN in a flash.

Here is the original

It takes a bit of time to find things for this , I may have to make that my after dinner relaxation instead of online shopping !
Speaking of Lala , I was enabled by her to buy my red Turandot.
I asked her to post a casual styling of it and she came up with a great shot worn with a t shirt which was pivotal for me .
I've posted it a few times over the years , to show how it's aged with me I've located a 2103 photo .
And here it is today in 2108 , this is more casual and shows two of my usual scarf knots. A weave knot and the Markova knot . [ There's another enabler!]
Before I would have picked a blue top to show it with , because there's blue in the scarf , or looked for a tonal match .
I'm wearing a black top today ; black would have seemed discordant then and too harsh , but now I like the fact it's slightly off . More spontaneous and modern.
More about that Markova knot another time.
Wow frou frou, I think your efforts to better incorporate your silks into your style has paid off beautifully! The first view of Turandot (swooning!) seems to be more about the scarf, and the more recent second two pics seem to be more about how Turandot fits into your sartorial world. You could argue that the weave knot doesn't allow much of the beauty of Turandot to be visible, but the Markova knot certainly does, and for me, there's something internally special about wearing a scarf that I love that isn't necessarily totally on view. Nice work!

I’m happy to see your thread froufrou, and what a great idea. Here is a grail that I spotted years ago from our dear lala who has an enviable collection of h silks and bags, and I just adore her style and taste.

After spotting her green ELK, which I would never have stretched myself to wear, after nearly ten years of searching ( yep ten) one finally came up on ebay never worn and a decent price that I could live with. Over the years my hair coloring changed and happily I can now wear those beautiful greens and turquoise colors that I loved on others. You never know how Mother Nature lends a hand in both good ways and em, sometimes not so great. Be careful what you wish for.

Lani, sometimes it's all about the timing; I noted your comment in another thread about how the greens and yellows are more friendly to your complexion/hair color than they used to be. They are right in your wheelhouse now, gorgeous on you!

Thank you! I’d love to see AnnaE post it again.

Really? I just saw the red Acte III and found the red cw to be more orange-y than pink-y. You look so lovely in orange. You tried it and it didn’t work? I’m so surprised!
The red Acte III was too orange-based for me too. I so wanted it to work. I hit the order button shockingly fast after seeing @papertiger 's gorgeous pics so I guess this is an example of an enabling that didn't work out. No harm done, the return was easy

Your L'Ivresse is the pinky-red scarf of my dreams.

View attachment 4179868 What a great thread idea! Here's a success - @Cookiefiend 's Rose Vif Mythes. As a denim lover, I knew I had to have this asap! As luck would have it, there was one available online that very day at a good price. My inspiration below, thanks Cookie!
This looks great Langsam! It is lovely with denim, and really good with your hair and complexion. I'm with you on being careful about tonalities of colors. I wondered about the 'red' Act III; it's so hard to asses the colors on the H website which is why tPF is so invaluable!

Ever since this thread was created I loved the idea. So now that the days are shorter it is time to contribute:
So, first one: I love Mythiques Phoenix, have the vert amande CW twice (one to use and one as a backup) and was lucky enough to find the pareo last summer.
I've seen the Pareo on MaiTai and some other blog, but this here is just one of my favourite pictures ever:

So, now I am doing the unthinkable: posting a swimsuit photo of myself on the internet.
Well, not the Caymans, not the elegant look (seriously, I am short, but not that short, it is the perspective!), but happy nevertheless:

I wanted this blouse ever since and was lucky enough to fine an Anne Fontaine store very close to my Hotel some weeks ago (well, H was not far either...). Since I have the same scarves as well (the folds of the Phoenix just did not stay put...):
