I back in early 2014 I remember the beautiful @pierina modeling lots of beautiful blue and turquoise scarves. In particular, I remember this Mors et gourmettes remix in a CSGM. Loved this, but by the time I bought my first CSGM in late 2015, this design was no longer in stores. Late last year, I saw one on eBay and clicked BIN in a flash.

Yes, yes! Pierina and her amazing blue shawl collection! I swooned over this one too, nabbed one and then gifted it to DD as her first CSGM shawl who absolutely adores it! Two generations have enjoyed this shawl lol!

Pierina is missed, she and Lanit were my scarf heroines when I first came to tpf.
You both look fabulous, and knowing how you suit blues I know how perfect this is for you. I wager you get many compliments with this Delft beauty ....:love:
Seen it IRL too as a friend wears it , the delicacy and subtlety says it all.

unfortunately i can't point at someone particular, but most of you have been a great inspiration booster and H Muse for me, some for the pattern and designs, some for ways of wearing and knotting, for which i am endlessly thankful! :flowers:

I went through my collection and while many were seen here first and then sought after, none of them could be linked to one particular viewing or person, and the love/desire came slowly over time and repeat viewings.

There is only one that I saw on a member and was so instantly inspired that I knew I had to find it ASAP. While her coloring is quite different to mine, I knew it would work well on me as well. I had to have the design, in the exact same cw. I was in love. It wasn’t just the beauty of the scarf, but also and most especially the elan with which she wore it. I tend to only take scarf pics with more “formal” ties vs when I just chuck them on. I need to correct that. But I promise I do chuck this one on often and hope I’m channeling some of AnnaE’s wonderful style:
