The Worst Hermes Color EVER!?

I'll update my list (no idea where my last post is) and it may be exactly the same....but I stand by this....the more one person dislikes a color, the more likely someone who ADORES that color is to find their bag or other special piece. So, if your favorite color is here or you detest my beloved, we all win

That said lol

Crevette
Alezan
Curry
Glycine
Bleu Jean
Etoupe (except when it's just exactly in a sweet spot, but still it makes my skin look awful lol)

Six colors out of so many is not too bad

Apart from Glycine which I tried, on a little Secret, I would have to agree that the others are not my favourite

Funny how I can LOVE some colours and really recoil at some of their close cousins:

Love Raisin, not Prune
Love Bambou, but not Granny
Love Bambou, but not Vert Vertigo (although I prefer the name)
Love vintage Rouge Hermes, but not modern RH
Love Gold, not Brique
Love Parchemin, not Trench
Love Chocolate, not Cafe
Love Etain, not Etoupe

Rose Sakura is beaaaauuutiful I will die on this hill hahaha :panic::lol::lol::lol:

I can't comment on the "bad" colors that I don't own because one just has to spend enough time with a color to truly decide... With that said, my color regrets are:

Etoupe (not sure why this was popular it just looks like mud or very questionable porridge)
Vert Bosphore (I imagined it brighter due to the many nice pictures online... only to be disappointed with the actual color...)

Vert Bosphore looks so good in pictures! You’ve def made me think I need to see it irl before plugging the trigger remotely on a bag in it.

100% agree on etoupe. SA brought a bag out in it for me thinking I guess “oh popular color” and I had to try and not visibly gag! :P As with almost any color, I’m sure somebody can make it work, but zero idea why it’s so popular.

Another color I really don’t like is vert criquet. No thank you! And I even like mint-y shades on some things.

Vert Bosphore looks so different on different leathers. I have it in a Calvi in Chevre Mysore, and it's quite nice, but I wouldn't mind it being brighter.

My first Hermes bag was a Kelly 32 vert anis in chèvre coromandel (a very lucky find), and I still adore it after so many years.
I think Hermes colors have so many undertones when in use and depending on the colors of the outfit. This is always so surprising to me and it makes Hermes special in this too.
Very rarely I have seen “flat” colors and those are the one I don’t like.

Etoupe.

I mean, it does get the name from this:

... and that is exactly what it reminds me of.

Love Blue Jean though. And don’t mind the name either. Anything that recalls David Bowie is good in my book.
I always thought Etoupe was French for Taupe. I have an Evelyne 29 III in Etoupe and love it. It's a warm neutral that I wear a lot during the winter. Toupee (guess that's what that is in the photo) is "Postiche" in French per Google Translate.
