The Worst Hermes Color EVER!?

I have to confess I kinda of like blue jean. It looks great with a shade of blue jeans;) - it’s a versatile colour. I think the problem with it and other distinct hues is that it’s easy to date it. For example I remember seeing it in 2007 and will always associate with that era. It was super popular and I am afraid the fakers had a a field day with it too.
I do tend to like black but it would be a joyless world if we only had black.

Oh for heaven’s sake dear, buy what you love and don’t worry about what a few complete strangers on an anonymous forum think (even me!). For everyone who decides to not get a color that makes their heart sing and “plays it safe” with gold, etoupe or black, there are a hundred others who think black is boring, gold looks like baby doo-doo, and the vaunted etoupe looks like mud. Also, you have no idea if any of us opinionated folks here on tPF have any style whatsoever. :amuse: The only person you must know and be true to is yourself. If Rose Pourpre and Jaune Ambre make your heart beat faster, you can certainly do some gorgeous things with those colors. Women of style are stylish in part because they do their own thing. (But don’t take my word for it!)
Great points! I usually go with my heart and so far I've never regretted that.

I'll update my list (no idea where my last post is) and it may be exactly the same....but I stand by this....the more one person dislikes a color, the more likely someone who ADORES that color is to find their bag or other special piece. So, if your favorite color is here or you detest my beloved, we all win

That said lol

Crevette
Alezan
Curry
Glycine
Bleu Jean
Etoupe (except when it's just exactly in a sweet spot, but still it makes my skin look awful lol)

Six colors out of so many is not too bad :)

This thread is making me second guess some of the Birkin bags/colors I have on my wish list like Rose Pourpre and Jaune Amber. Will I still love those colors and want to carry them 5 years from now. Maybe I really should stay with neutrals...currently carry a B30 in Gold.

Do not second guess yourself... The more opinions you ask for the more opinions you will receive
At the end of the day, the only one that really counts is yours
Colors are fun.. they add that pop of unexpectedness & add to your own sense of individuality

Vert anis. I know I'm not alone here. I can riff a list of plenty of colors over the last 20 years that did not spark joy, but I can squarely name five that make me physically uncomfortable.

Vert anis
Blue jean
Bougainvillea
Crevette
Capuchine

Rose Sakura and Curry

Rose Sakura is beaaaauuutiful I will die on this hill hahaha :panic::lol::lol::lol:

I can't comment on the "bad" colors that I don't own because one just has to spend enough time with a color to truly decide... With that said, my color regrets are:

Etoupe (not sure why this was popular it just looks like mud or very questionable porridge)
Vert Bosphore (I imagined it brighter due to the many nice pictures online... only to be disappointed with the actual color...)
