opinions needed. do you prefer the look of one twilly on the front handle of a b25 or should i twilly both?

my sa twillied my front handle, and i love it. but the consensus was both handles would be too much?!

im not sure i agree. i might need to buy a matching twilly. thoughts?

I think that if you are using an exotic leather handbag you should cover both handles to protect the skins. I am an older woman and sometimes I feel that twillys are too much flufffor me. If I am I. A non twilly mood I will wrap my handles with plain colored velvet or silk ribbon that match the leather color. I have found ombré silk grosgrain, and moire ribbons that are lovely that work very well. I cut ribbon, 2/2, 5/8, or 3/4 thx inches wide the same length as a twill of even a little longer, found the center spot on it and held it to the middle top spot of the handle. Wrap to the right. At the bottom of the handle, wrap one last time ring the ribbon around and pull it down and place under and through the last wrap to secure it. Trim a nice angle on the ribbon a couple of inches below that. Repeat on the other side, trying to match the angle on the ribbon. It’s very inexpensive to do this, it’s easy, and provides a different look.

sounds lovely and quite creative. I go back and forth…to twilly or not to twillie. one of my bags is craie so i’m always concerned about the handles getting dirty. or even oil marks from my hands.
