Happy to help! You have the option to upgrade to a thicker felt, and I think some people like that. I’m okay with this thickness as any thicker would be too structured for me.

It’s not normal but I’m so jealous. Now both sides of your bag say MIF! They just picked up the wrong leather side piece but I think it gives it a super unique character! ❤️

I’m with the others...this is really cool. I’d keep it as it makes it that more special but if you’re really bothered by it then return it.
Has anyone experienced this cracking? I just noticed today that my speedyb25 has a few of these along both sides of the zipper. They’re all exactly the same length too. My bag was made 27th week of 2016 and I got it in December 2016. I’m wear it without babying it but I’m not rough on anything I own. I’m very particular with how it’s stored and how I put it up on the shelf at the end of each day.

I haven’t experienced any cracking but I’m sure you are disappointed. I haven’t seen cracks like that on a speedy. Very sad. You can try LV to see if they will offer to replace, but most likely they will say it is owner caused. If all else fails, I’d use crazy glue to stop the cracks from getting bigger. If doesn’t hurt to try LV first though. Good luck.
Thank you. There are a couple other ladies on here with the same cracks and got replacement bags. My local store said my bag is old (it’s 4 yrs old) and this is not a known issue so nothing can be done. The rest of my bag is immaculate. Posts on PF indicate that this isn’t unheard of. I’m waiting to hear what corporate says based on the photos I’ve given them. My purchases since this bag were for Chloe and Loewe so I also suspect the store’s decision may also be because I haven’t purchased enough from them for a long time.
Gotta love Fashionphile when LV is out of stock and you don’t want to wait! My new (2018) speedyb DE arrived yesterday. This is my third DE speedy (25b was too small and 30 needed a strap) so hopefully this one is just right. Here she is keeping company with her new sisters.

Yes 30b. The strap is in the bag! I carry it in the bag in case I need to be hands free. I loved the 30 but wished I'd gotten the strap.
