I finally decided I want a speedy 30 in monogram for my everyday carry. I watched so many comparison videos on YouTube between the 25 and 30! I think a 30 is a better idea for me in case I want to carry a pashmina or paperback with me. No harm in carrying it mostly empty when I’m just going to the store, right?

It’s out of stock on the website though. Is it restocked regularly or hard to find? Is Christmas the reason?

question though, how long do the canvas creases take to go away? I have inserted a cheapo organizer from Amazon there but I was thinking perhaps I need to get one from samorga for better shape.

My creases went away after a month or so. Keeping it stuffed in storage helped.

After much back and forth with myself (25 vs. 30, mono vs. DE) for at least 3 years, I finally bought the SpeedyB DE 30!! It was the first bag I wanted. Then I saw Minks4all’s 25b and fell in LOVE. So both sizes and prints sat in my wishlist. Then when I went to pick up another bag in the boutique, I saw the 30b in DE on display and immediately wanted her and ultimately it was what I chose ❤️

I was curious to know if LV had gotten back to you & what was their response, in case I run into the same situation.

Yes, they said the cracks are progression of use. The only other sign of wear is the metal coating chipping on the zipper pull. The handles and strap are great and corners are perfect and they got photo of all of this so they know the bag hasn’t been abused. I take great care of it and I’m particular about its care (how it’s stored, how and where I sit it down, etc) so I don’t know how I could’ve prevented this.

They said the repair shop would determine if it was a defect or wear and tear and would be in touch. I will be very upset if they say it's wear and tear and there will be a charge. I know some of the corners are starting to wear but I also see that is normal for DE bags - and I use it everyday. My DH says not to worry it should be fine but I do tend to assume the worst. I can update again when I hear back. Fingers crossed!

Good luck. I had an issue with my Speedy within the first couple of months. The thread was loose on the strap holder and completely unraveled and came off. I took into the store and luckily for me they have the repair shop on the 2nd floor. The lady whipped out a needle and thread and re-stitched it right then and there. Too bad they didn't have a shop on the premises where you went.
