I have never seen this with my bags or on the forum. My guess is that if it is only 5 months old LV will at least offer a free repair. You may even get a new bag. LV zippers, in my experience, are usually the best. Don't be nervous when you go in the store. Just show them what has happened and let them decide and go from there. As a customer, you have every right to expect better quality. LV does have better after-the-sale care than most luxury retailers. Please let us know what happens at the store.
Thank you for your input, it helps! It would be super to get a new one that was MIF. A free repair would definitely be wonderful too. Since it's my daily bag and I mostly shoulder carry these days there the d-rings are darkened and so forth so I hope they don't think I abuse it because that certainly isn't the case. But I do use it everywhere and put everything in it. I also rarely zip it, it was just an odd chance I wanted to zip it a few weeks back and it was sticky which has bothered me ever since! I will update once I see what they say!

I just noticed that my speedy B30 is missing two teeth in the zipper! I was wondering why I was having issues zipping it. I have no idea how this happened or even when! I am going to head to the store today but I am a bit nervous because this is just such on odd thing to happen. Has anyone else encountered this? The bag is just over 5 months old and I use it everyday and take it everywhere - it's truly my workhorse and I love it so much!
They should repair it for free at the very least. Zipper teeth should not be missing on any bag, let alone alone a Louis Vuitton.

Well they had to send it in for repair. I really need to find a SA I like, I wasn't comfortable with this one and the store was busy. They said the repair shop would determine if it was a defect or wear and tear and would be in touch. I will be very upset if they say it's wear and tear and there will be a charge. I know some of the corners are starting to wear but I also see that is normal for DE bags - and I use it everyday. My DH says not to worry it should be fine but I do tend to assume the worst. I can update again when I hear back. Fingers crossed!

With the current situation, they may not have a bag right now to replace it. It looks like it is sold out online. Hopefully the wait won't be long, and the resolution will be in your favor.

Hi! Could you do me a big favor and measure your strap's length for this piece? Longest or shortest setting is fine. I bought this, but my strap is really long.... Like 48" long/24" drop at the shortest. According to the description, the strap should be a foot shorter. I've asked LV, and no one could tell me if my strap is the oddball, or if the mistake is on their end with a wrong description. They told me to exchange it, but I don't want to go through the trouble of exchanging for another one if they will all be long.
 
I love the idea of a bright organizer in a dark bag. Can you tell me who makes yours? It look like a really nice setup.
I get all my bag organizers from Samorga. Great organizers in my opinion and they’re shipping a lot faster these days. I only get them for big bags so that my things aren’t floating around inside the bag. Love them!
