Hi fellow speedy lovers. I just bought my first lv bag and of course it was the speedy b that caught my eye. I absolutely love it. Have ordered a samorga organiser to go into it. I got the speedy 30 in damier. I’d love to hear any tips you may have?

Congratulations on your first LV bag! DE is really carefree. Just watch the corners. They tend to rub and show wear more so than mono. I have Samorgas in all my bags and love the organization. I also like how they keep my speedys from sagging too much. Please post a pic when you can!

Hi owners! I'm trying to make a weird choice here - is a speedy 40 too big to carry for everyday?
I'm trying to make the choice between a 40 or 25. I know, totally different ball game. I'm all over the place when I think about bags I like. Sometimes I like huge totes, sometimes I'm into just a pochette. I'm just wondering if the 40 is... too much?

I’ve just bought my first speedy b and like you didn’t have a clue what size to get. I ended up going into the store and trying on the different sizes to see what suited me best.

I’m a curvy girl ie I have boobages and a bum and found the speedy b 30 suited me the best. The 25 was just too small for me. The 35 was just too big for me kind of verging on a weekend bag. I had a great chat with the SA and she said she has a speedy 25 and 35. The 35 suits her for work if she’s bringing all her bits including her lunch box etc. Personally the 30 suits my needs. It’s big enough to be able to throw a decent sized makeup bag, iPad mini, phone, wallet, keys, perfume, packet of tissues, earphones into etc whilst still having some space. I did order one of the samorga organisers though so waiting for that. I don’t know what I’ll be able to store in the bag once I have that in though.

Definitely pop into your nearest store and play around with the sizes. Maybe bring along things you normally carry in your bag etc and place them in the bag. It’s the best way to really get a feel of them. At the end of the day you want to be really happy with your purchase so don’t rush into it and go see them in the flesh.

Thank you so much! This is very helpful. I most likely will end up with the 30, considering I can't make up my mind :) I will go this weekend and try them on. I had a 30 before but it was multicolor and it was.... years ago. I'm excited to get back into collecting again!

This is the reasons why so many people have speedies in every size and print! It's REALLY hard to decide! Whatever you buy, you'll love and you'll want more, just the way it is. GL and post a pic once you have it!:biggrin:

Oh let us know what you decide to get. Mine is the dm one. I’m not going to lie I think I will be investing in the 35 or 40 in the monochrome in the future as a weekend bag

Hi guys :smile: I have both the Speedy 25 in Mono and DE . Is the canvas of the Mono usually softer ,more pliable then on the DE ? I am now considering buying the Speedy Mono bandouliere but I like the canvas better of the DE. Thanks :smile:
