I have both a 25 and 30 Speedy B. I can wear the 25 very comfortably without bopping into tables, people, doors, etc...However, when I wear my 30 I am always hitting into things. Especially since I use either an organizer or base shaper in my 30 to maintain that beautiful shape. More times than not I bop something, feel awful, and then take the strap off and put it into the bag. I recently got a Speedy 30 for the holidays. I got it in the 30 Classic...no B. I think going forward, the only 30 B I would get if it was a bag that was a LE (such as the Tahitienne) that ONLY comes in a 30B. Hope this helps. I attach a strap to the classic if I need to be hands free. I have a 30 Classic vintage and have done this for years with no damage. Eye candy below.

Do you ever use the LV Lock to secure your bag?
I am unsure if it makes sense to use the lock on my speedy b 30

No. I barely zip it closed.

How do you make sure that with a Speedy B in mono all the vachetta has more or less the same patina? I barely use the middle part of the strap and it's comparef to the rest quite light. Any tipps? My speedy isn't even a year old I am a bit scared that the colour difference will be even stronger

if you have a possibility of leaving the part in the sun:
leave the part in the sun for 1 hour a day and then take a break for 1 hour and then you can leave it again in the sun for 1 hour and so on.. it will quickly get patina.. I did this and it turn quickly after 2 -3 weeks or so

Agree but you don’t need to give it a break if indoors. It is not going to get tired or sunburned or anything. I’ve left vachetta under a sunny window for months. But I do rotate and flip occasionally so it tans evenly.

Received my first luxury handbag last September for my birthday. LV speedy 30 bandolier with an Original club insert. I’m able to carry my 1 year olds things in it as well for a quick trip out. Quite impressed with how roomy this is. This is pretty much my everyday bag [emoji7]

I have the 25 and it doesn’t slouch like my canvas version. It hold its shape well and molds to the hip just a bit. I love this bag!

That's awesome information to hear! Would you mind to please share if you use a base shaper or purse organizer? How do you store your bag?

I need ideas to make me love wearing this bag. I have a Mono 30B and it is almost 2 years old. (I also have NFs - one of each print and love them. I find that I get annoyed with the "black hole" when I try to look for something inside. I am using an organizer that is a light pink color and does not help. Should I try SLG's without an organizer? Reduce what I am putting in the bag? I am not sure what to change but want to reach for this bag more over my NFs.

I have a 30b and a 35b, I use SLGs to divide them up like a file cabinet. I will post pix when I'm back home. I find it really helps me to find things quickly, especially if the slg's are unique in size, pattern, texture, etc. I initially tried an organizer and hated it. I'd forget what little compartment things were meant to go back in, and found sometimes in a hurry I'd slip things between organizer and bag wall.

Happy to join the club. Received my first Speedy yesterday. I am in love with the bag. I was not sure if I should go with the classic or with a strap. After trying on both at the store the classic Speedy just looked so beautiful. While the Speedy B was cute it was just too casual and looked simpler. Love my new classic Speedy 30.

Here is my file cabinet system for Speedy b 30. And the last pic shows there is still room for a bottle of wine on top of those SLGs if you find yourself needing to store wine. Not all what I show are leather or LV, the little fabric zipper pouch is off Etsy and very light weight!
