Those of you who own Speedy B......do you find it comfortable as a crossbody? I’ve never owned a speedy, but I know I’d want it to be kinda smooshy and not hold that perfect speedy shape. Is it still kinda bulky when worn crossbody? I’m thinking of a 25 or a 30. Thanks for any advice and/or opinions.

I have both a 25 and 30 Speedy B. I can wear the 25 very comfortably without bopping into tables, people, doors, etc...However, when I wear my 30 I am always hitting into things. Especially since I use either an organizer or base shaper in my 30 to maintain that beautiful shape. More times than not I bop something, feel awful, and then take the strap off and put it into the bag. I recently got a Speedy 30 for the holidays. I got it in the 30 Classic...no B. I think going forward, the only 30 B I would get if it was a bag that was a LE (such as the Tahitienne) that ONLY comes in a 30B. Hope this helps. I attach a strap to the classic if I need to be hands free. I have a 30 Classic vintage and have done this for years with no damage. Eye candy below.

I have the 30b and never wear it crossbody. I carry too much in it to be comfortable crossbody, the weight just hurts my neck, digging in like it does. Agree that even lightened up, it bumps into ppl and things as I move about. Imo it's too big for cross body, but I know ppl do wear it that way.
For crossbody I wear a pochette with long strap.

I love my 25 crossbody! It definitely smooshes against the body. My only complaint is that the leather on ebene is kind of hard and uncomfortable.

I wear my 30B crossbody as my ideal work bag for my long commute. I agree though that it can feel too big when worn that way but I need that size to carry everything I need during the day. In terms of look i prefer it handheld or over the shoulder.

I don't own the B, but I do own both the classic 25 and the 30. I wear the 25 with and without a strap. I find it very comfortable to wear crossbody and it does mold to my hip/thigh very well without looking bulky. I'm just under 5'4 and cannot wear the 30 cross body as it looks way too big on me. In my opinion, the 25 keeps its shape a lot better than the 30, even when you back it to the brim. I find that the 30 sags a lot when I wear it as a top handle, so I can imagine it sagging even more if one were to wear it cross body.



PS: I don't have base shapers or organizers for either of my bags.

Ok, here is my first world problem for the day! I have settled on the Speedy 35 as my favorite size Speedy, and use an assortment of SLGs to handle the black hole issue. (I don't like purse organizers, I did try one!) I have 4 wide SLGs that create a sort of "file cabinet" system for about 2/3 of the width of the bag, and the other 1/3 is smaller things, like a coin purse, sunglasses, pack of gum, etc.This has been working well until I noticed the other day that the large pochette (which I sometimes use on it's own with a long strap/crossbody) had a little scuff on it. Admittedly, the inside of my Speedy is a pretty harsh environment. None of the other SLGs serve double duty like the one pochette does. I took the pochette out, but it served a wonderful purpose of holding my phone and my 6key ring wallet. Now the phone and 6key go swimming loose in the bag and are difficult to find. Do I put the pochette back in, and say oh well? Do I find a preloved already scuffed pochette to take it's place? Look for something else, like a makeup bag, to serve the same purpose? It doesn't even have to zip close, as I never zipped the pochette in my bag. Have you found anything that serves this purpose?

A TP 19 would serve the purpose nicely I think .... or you could get a 2nd PA or even a cosmetic pouch since you have a lot of space in your 35

Does anyone have a source for plain D ring clips? Looking to attach a non LV keychain to a Speedy handle. This is silly fun, so not looking to spend a bunch. TIA!

Added the Speedy 35 to my collection this past week. I added a crossbody chain strap, mostly for looks but occasional use as well. I'm having a hard time settling on the 35 and am debating if I should go back for a 30.
The SA at my store baffled me when he told me adding a strap can damage the bag, yet when I asked if I can add a strap to the Alma PM, he said "sure no problem". Both bags have similar handles/reinforcements. He really shamed me for getting the classic, and not the B.. seemed a little too sales pushy, which I did not appreciate.

ps. I ordered a purse organizer for structure and base. Once I get it, I'll have a better idea about keeping the 35 or going with the 30.
