Hi! I am new to the site and venturing in to the Speedy world!! I have the mono Neverfull GM. So I have decided I want the DE because of where I live. Odds are I will use it crossbody more than anything. My trouble is the size 30 or 35??? I am 5'10" size 12. I am so torn!! Could you please offer suggestions and why!! I greatly appreciate it!!

I think 30 is the perfect size. 35 will sag more. See if you could try the 30 cross body in store. For my preference 25 is best when worn cross body and 30 looks bulky. But I am petite.

YES! I found them to be really stiff and I sold mine. I have the monogram speedy B and it is much softer. Also because DE is so stiff the strap sticks up where they connect. Don't know if that makes sense...

Hi girls, just wondering if the DE speedy b straps are stiff and becomes uncomfortable at times? I think after much debate on what to buy next I'll just buy the speedy b for now because I will eventually buy it in the future. I always loved the DE print but the reviews of stiff and uncomfortable straps scares me as I tend to carry my bags crossbody most of the time.

I've read and seen that I think the DE leather has changed recently and would like to ask those who recently purchased as well what they think of their straps thanks

I'm the same height as you and use my 35 more than the 30 - just feel happier with this size. Both are wonderful though!

Would any of you lovely Speedys 25 owners be able to say if they think the items in my photo would fit into a 25 or should I up to a 30? I’m 5ft and 107lbs. I own a Speedy 35 classic so don’t mind large bags but it’s a little too large and tends to crash into anyone that passes me! On the other hand I don’t like bags so small, where you have to play Tetris with your items when you need to take one thing out! Thanks in advance.

I think these items would fit, but you'd have to play a bit of Tetris with them. I believe it's safer to go for the 30.

I think the 30 would be better for your items as well. Definitely a tetris issue if you get the 25 and the smaller opening would be an issue.

Brilliant. Thanks for the advice. It would bug me having to pull things out to get 1 item and strategically placing it back in. I like to just throw things in but like the compact look of the 25. No point if I won’t use it. Now the age old question. Ebene or mono. Personally I have a love affair with the colour contrast of mono. It literally turns my head. Ebene, not so much but it rains here a lot. I try telling myself just accept the patina will change really fast and then with the ebene my concern is the straps being more uncomfortable and do I want to pay for a wet weather bag if the strap ( that I’m paying £200+ more for) isn’t as soft as mono! 1st world problems, here.

The 30 will fit with room to spare! Try it in-store, then you'll know exactly what fits your wishes the most. I'd go for the mono if that makes your heart beat a bit faster, even the Ebene has its cons with wear&tear. I find comfort important if you plan to carry a 30. Goodluck!

Hi, I know you did not ask me, but l just want to tell you why I prefer 35 over 30. I had Neverfull PM for 4 year. I purchased it because I like big bags. I also had Speedy 30 with cherrys and I sold it for 2 reasons, first it was not big enough for me, second I wanted something with a shoulder strap. So for NY 2018 I bought Speedy B 35. Perfect size for me! Now looking for a bag organizer.

My speedy b Damier Ebene 30 is my most
Used bag. It’s coming up on a year old
and I thought I’d share some wear and tear. The canvas, interior, and handle are great the only signs of WT are on the side loops
And hardware on handles. That’s a given as the strap is rubbing and charms are rubbing on handles. My speedy b still had the creases on it still after almost a year and I keep bag stuffed and use a samorga when In use. Overall I love this bag and I love my 25 b de just a bit more than 30. I love speedy b’s lol.
