Going to today. Honestly I feel like it was either the floor model or someone bought it and returned it.
I had bought an Alma in monogram a couple months ago and my lock also looked a bit tarnished. I returned it but not just for that reason but that would bother me.
Hi girls, just wondering if the DE speedy b straps are stiff and becomes uncomfortable at times? I think after much debate on what to buy next I'll just buy the speedy b for now because I will eventually buy it in the future. I always loved the DE print but the reviews of stiff and uncomfortable straps scares me as I tend to carry my bags crossbody most of the time.
I've read and seen that I think the DE leather has changed recently and would like to ask those who recently purchased as well what they think of their straps

25 or 30? Which one looks better? I'm leaning towards 30 mainly because of the opening.

How much do you carry in your bags? Personally, I like the 25 on you. I own the 25 and never have a problem with the opening. I also don't keep much in my bags. Had the 30 and sold it. On my petite frame, it felt like a suitcase. Either size looks good on you. Great bag!
I generally carry cles, josephine wallet, two cosmetic pouches, a ti-84, 2 cell phones and a small planner.
I'm planning to reward myself for graduating with my masters in engineering! [emoji1]
Go with the size that is the best functionally. It's such a classic bag, you really can't go wrong with either in terms of looks. I will say that if you plan to wear it crossbody, the 30 can look bulky if it's full. But for me, function wins out.
Update... so I returned!!! Got a good one! No tarnished lock and no rippling strap. Ok but then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looked at the date code and it was 2016! Not sure what u guys would do, but i’m thinking this is my second one and another issue with a-year-old bag I guess that wouldn’t bother some but it bothered me so I returned it not an exchange this time. I’m going to New York in two weeks so I’m just gonna buy the bag there get it stamped with the Soho stamp won’t have any regrets on that one!!
So happy to join this club! Absolutely in love with this bag! For reference I’m 5’3 and I went with the Speedy B 25. I think she is perfect! Hoping I get a matching wallet for my birthday next week. Dropped a hint to the dear husband hopefully he listens

Hi! I am new to the site and venturing in to the Speedy world!! I have the mono Neverfull GM. So I have decided I want the DE because of where I live. Odds are I will use it crossbody more than anything. My trouble is the size 30 or 35??? I am 5'10" size 12. I am so torn!! Could you please offer suggestions and why!! I greatly appreciate it!!
You could rock either one of them, just choose the one you like best- if u carry a lot, I’d get the 35’ otherwise the 30 would be perfect. I’m 6 inches shorter than u and the 30 looks big on me.
