I normally look at the print alignment first then look at the stitchings then overall condition, make sure no darkened vacahatta leather and scratches.So..I was reading a thread about someone wanting to exchange their speedy B because of the piping and it got me wondering - what are some things you look at before deciding it's the "perfect" one for you?
I have/had a speedy 25 in mono and speedy 30 in DE and speedy b 30 in mono. The things I mainly look at are the threading making sure it's straight and not double stitched and no scratches/scuffs on the leather parts.
It adds to the character of the bag! I would tell you to just enjoy using the bag! Nothing is perfect. Your stitching looks great! Beautiful bag and enjoy using it for many years!
[emoji47] Reading this made me so sad. I hope you know we would love to see your pictures. There isn't a single one of us that feels picture perfect, hell even our ridiculously expensive bags aren't perfect but we still love them! [emoji4]I have pictures but I don't feel I'm skinny enough to post![]()

Guys, the stitching isn't a big issue (well I know we all want a perfect bag but it seems it's a bit more difficult nowadays to get a perfect bag), I have a bag that has such a big issue that I don't even want to talk about it.Thanks for the advice! And the stitching better be perfect lol, I had to exchange the first one I had because of multiple stitching issues!
Personally I'd rather be happy and enjoy life than worry about being a certain size and shape. This philosophy also carries over into shoes, you'll never see me in high heels, I value the comfort of my feet, and how I feel way more than how they look. [emoji6]Thank you! I'm sad tooThere were a few period of time in life I felt great about myself (when I was under $118 lbs), well, didn't last long enough

Oh no! Now that's sad!Guys, the stitching isn't a big issue I have seen quite a percentage of bags have bad stitchings (well I know we all want a perfect bag but it seems it's a bit more difficult nowadays to get a perfect bag), I have a bag that has such a big issue that I don't even want to disclose it.![]()

Can I please get some advise? I just bought my speedy 30 b in DE. The lock is tarnished and the strap on the inside has rippling. Only on inside. Hearing all this about being perfect but should I exchange? I just got it yesterday.Guys, the stitching isn't a big issue (well I know we all want a perfect bag but it seems it's a bit more difficult nowadays to get a perfect bag), I have a bag that has such a big issue that I don't even want to talk about it.![]()
The lock is tarnished already? kinda of strange. I can't see how rippling is your strap, DE strap is very stiff, so maybe as soon as you bend it, it shows wear more obviously compares to the monogram one. If it's from yourself handling it, then I probably won't exchange it because it will happen to the next one too.Can I please get some advise? I just bought my speedy 30 b in DE. Yes it's DE. But I just removed from box like that. I'm wondering if I bought a return. I think I will take it back. The lock is easily to be re polished though.
