The hubs and I took a small vacay to Vegas. I came home with 2 speedy b 35's and he came home broke after the crap's table showed him who's boss LOL!! Drinks were flowing so he didn't mind too much.
Overall we had a great time, weather was pleasant, drinks were free and we got some much needed R&R. View attachment 3623340
We had to buy more luggage LOL!! This happens no matter where we travel, we both love shopping so we always look for a place to purchase a new suitcase while there. MY speedy boxes were pretty flat compared to other LV boxes, so I just stacked them in my new suitcase and hoped they made it to our home destination. My other suitcase had the entire front ripped off out of charlotte airport so now I have a claim for repair but my speedys made it safe and sound. I plan to check if purchasing 2 larger boxes is possible because I don't plan to fold the speedys back down again. It would make storing them easier.Congrats! Gorgeous. I'm contemplating that size also. I got my first Speedy (first Lv at all) in Vegas! We almost didn't get the box home, we had brought carry on luggage! Did you bring the boxes home also? Always curious to hear how others pack vacation bought LV.![]()

Yeah, YIKES is the right word. I'm 1000% sure my suitcase wasn't like this.....Too funny! I just bought a TP26 on Thursday (and flew through Charlotte, yikes!) It was given to me in a huge box. I filled the TP pouch (love that it sits flat) and rolled up most of my clothes and put it in the box. Then I filled the empty spaces with shoes. All that and it was carry on! I did leave my old toiletry pouch in the hotel trash. [emoji1]

I ended up putting them in a suitcase I bought in marshalls in Hollywood the day before, I definitely would have lost it if that was the bag I put my purses in. Funny thing is at the last minute I removed EVERYTHING from that particular pocket. I would have lost 2 pair of coach driving mocassins and a pair of puma's. I'm not sure why I removed them and put them inside but so glad I did. Airports suck...........Omg!! I would have freaked out knowing my bags were in there and the suitcase looked like that.
Looking good!! I love your hair! Also as I haven't posted in awhile, here is my Speedy B 30 in DE. [emoji1]

Well this is my first Speedy and the reason why I never kept a Speedy (bought a DE but returned her) was because it was too squishy and unstructured for me. I'm not sure the Speedy is for me period. I have a DE Sienna that I love, an empriente twice bag, and 2 Epi pochettes. I'm used to a flatter handbag. So to try to answer your question, it is stiffer or more structured then the canvas which is why I liked it. Wearing it cross body feels really awkward for me because I do like flatter bags for that (can't wait for the new empriente PM to arrive!) I think this is more of a handheld or in the crook of your arm bag. But you know what, I still haven't tried my new Epi with the original strap. I think the bandolier strap I bought makes it stick out further. Overall for me, I do like my Epi, I just don't know if I love her. Does this make sense at all? Lol
