Someone in another thread posted a picture of her speedy b 25 with a zippered pocket. I'm assuming it's the NM.
Since I got my MIF speedy b 25 last week should I exchange it for a NM but it would be MIU? Does MIF hold more value? Will the additional hardware hold more value? Or will the classic pocket without the zipper hold more value?
I'd love to get your opinions!

I think it depends on how popular the nm is. If the pocket is too small and hard to get into, some my actually prefer the old model. Most people probably don't even use the pocket on their speedys so the change was so not necessary. I actually don't like the zipper. JMHO
I think the pocket is the same. And I don't think the zipper was necessary but I'm in three mind sets 1) I just bought it so I should have the newest model 2) what if MIF holds more value 3) what if the classic pocket holds more value
It's such a small pocket, I really hope it's not a new feature
I have a speedy b 25 in DE, too, and think it would be a pain. The opening of the speedy is small and I think it would be a little difficult to get in and out of. Personally I don't buy bags to "hold value". I buy them to use them and don't think about resale. I have MIU bags and don't find them any lesser quality than MIF. I've even compared them in the boutique once and there was no difference in anything, same quality. I would not exchange. Especially if you have taken it out or used it at all. I've seen you post in a few threads and it sounds like you just aren't happy all around with it though...

It's not that I'm unhappy it's just I am an over thinker... Reason I think of resale value is because 1) I'm spending so much money on a handbag that I hope it retains its value 2) I like the option of reselling. I actually sold my speedy 30 to fund for a speedy b 25. So I honestly don't know which one would hold most value. Hope that makes sense...
So someone from CS called me back and said they have never made a speeding with a zippered pocket. She said she spoke to her managers and called different stores and spoke to item specialists who do the repairs and no one has ever heard of it
But wouldn't corporate know before anyone else? It's so annoying that when I call the store it gots to CS instead.
Rather than adding zipper to the inside pocket, why wouldn't they prioritize on fixing the mismatched hardware problems?
To say that all Speedy Bs have mismatched hardware is definitely an aesthetic issue that needs to be fixed. A premium brand shouldn't have this issue.

Without zipper 's a little difficult to introduce things into his pocket , zippered must be horrible!
I'll try to post one soon. I have had to get use to the stiffness of the straps but I have noticed they are starting to relax a bit. I love this little bag. I carry it mostly cross body. It does get a bit heavy with my zippy wallet so I just transferred my credit cards into my cles and put the cles in my mini pochette along with my make up and money. Thinking of getting the round zipper coin wallet for coins (obviously!). Still love my zippy wallet but not with this bag.
Perfect thanks!! That is good to know. I had a speedy b 30 emp and sold it cuz it was to heavy. I wanted to try the 25 de cuz it's lighter. But I'm worried about the straps being to short. Can wait to see!!
Went to LV this weekend picked up speedy b 25 DE. Didn't even notice the zipper until just now. It's the same size I actually like the zipper in there. It actually helps the pocket from sagging when you put something in the pocket.
