Thanks for the feedback! So what I've decided to do for now is to keep one key on my key ring and one away in the box. I just want to keep the lock on the bag right now to see if I like it and for some reason I feel like I should have a key for it nearby... even though I don't anticipate using it. LOL

May change things up later, though. ;)

Yes for sure have a key with you if carrying the lock! I always thought it was strange to lock your bag when normally your keys go inside your purse, haha!

Well, I figured out the mystery. I think this is why people put their cles pouch on the outside, like a bag charm. Then you can put your keys and your lock's key in there so it's not inside your bag while it's locked. Or, hooked on the clochette that comes on Alma bags if you're lucky to get one. [emoji5]️ I think the clochettes should automatically come with Speedy bags since they give you a lock, it only makes sense!

Yes, I agree! I'm going to try to get one! I'll call the 800 number and see if they'll send one to the store.

Ohh good luck with that! I have one, I posted a pic on the "clochette" thread. I was in the U.S. and asked the SA I purchased my Speedy bag from. Long story short, mine was free! It's considered a replacement part for your Alma, even though they knew it was going to be for my Speedy bag. But, I've heard sometimes they charge you, around $35. If you don't have luck on the phone, try going in store and ordering one, then see if they charge you. I didn't find out the cost until after my order was placed, but expected to pay. [emoji5]️

Speedy B 30 Damier Ebene I picked up last weekend. I'm 5'8" and had originally thought about getting the 35 but when I tried it on as a crossbody the 35 looked a bit too bulky to me. (It was stuffed in the store, maybe that's why.) I went with the 30, much to my surprise! Anyway, I think she's gorgeous and the picture doesn't do her justice!

Same here. When I bought mine from holt renfrew vancouver LV store back in Jan, right off the bat, I notice the vachetta is not white as I have seen from others' picture. The bag was made at the end of the 2014 based on the date code, so I know it is not because it has been sitting around. (The SA did manage to find me a MIF bag among the stock they have at the store.) I have used it for 6 months now, I would say it has a medium patina already. I used the LMB on the leather, I wonder if that is why it has patinaed so quickly. It looks beautiful so no complaints. And I have carried in the light rain, no water marks at all!

Here's a comparison pic I took at the LV store today if anyone's interested. I had a hard time choosing between the Siena MM and Speedy b 30 but ended up going home with the Speedy! :p

Congrats on getting a Speedy B. You made a great choice I love my Speedys. I have a regular one and a Speedy B and I wouldn't trade them for any other bag.
