That's a good question . It's possible to order it as a spare part.. but I think you may have to have a keepall in order to get a replacement. I hear you, I've had my speedy b de for 1.5 yrs and it's still pretty stiff, it doesn't bother me too much because I don't put much in my bag. Good luck and I hope you get your pad!

I told my SA that the strap was bothering my shoulder and she went ahead and ordered it for me as a spare part maybe ? And I didn't have to pay for it. But if I had to pay I would for it I would have its worth it for me.
My new-to-me Speedy B 30 should be arriving soon. I never had this bag on my radar as I already own a Speedy but it was in such great condition and an excellent deal. It has been authenticated and I can't wait for her arrival. Now I'm thinking of how to "dress her up". I think a bandeau is in order for a nice welcome to her new home!! 
congrats on her. she is gorgeous. i am wanting one so bad. i was just saving for a speedy, but after seeing the speedy b, i have to get her so more saving!
Quick question... I just bought a speedy b 25 in Paris! (My first LV and so happy to be part of the club.) But... what do you all do with the keys? I put the lock on the zipper and I like it there but now where do I hold the keys? Should I take them with me in the bag everywhere or leave them in the pouch in the box?

I leave my keys in the box at home. I don't need the extra weight and don't want to get it tarnished. I don't have any need to use it unless I travel to an area where I want the security of a locked closure.
here's my 35. I ordered it from LV Canada online- my first time ordering online. Nice quick shipping! it does seem to have a little more patina than I thought it would, perhaps it's been sitting around... Made is USA with the cloth tag and it's the newest model. I just noticed my poor Balenciaga city squished underneath the box in my haste of taking a picture! excuse the car pics!

Hi same here, I leave the lock in its dust bag at home because it's extra weight, enough for me at least. It will tarnish however, even if it's not exposed to the outside, that's just part of its charm.
