Oh you guys! So many gorgeous bags here :love:
I've just recently fallen in love with Speedy and planning to get one for myself as soon as possible. First I was looking for regular Speedy 30 but I do think Speedy b would be more convenient with 1yo toddler :D

I've always been a leather bag girl so I'm not that familiar with canvas. Is it ok to use when it's really cold (below 0 degrees..?),

So.....I'm looking for some input. I think I've figured out how to get my "Nano" bag fix. Being as though they are ridiculously small for me, I'm considering getting a speedy 25 to do the trick. Now the dilemma is: a regular 25, or speedy b 25..... Or a mon mono 25 or a mon mono 25 b. Of course there are varying price points involved, and I just don't know if I will always have the desire for a nano. So there in lies the issue. Thoughts ?????

I'm a shortie 5'3 but I hope I can help. I can see where you're coming from about wanting a tiny beauty. I'm used to big bags, so the speedy 25 looks tiny to me. It was between the speedy 25 b and the siena pm. I tried both on and came home with the speedy 25b ebene.

Like you said there are options like the mon mono which is eye-catching or the speedy without the strap. I chose the bandouliere ebene for the various carrying options and easy-to-manage ebene print. The 25 is spacious enough and if I would want something even smaller I'd go with the alma bb which is such a beautifully designed bag. I hope I'm not confusing you even more by mentioning the alma bb, perhaps you already have that. Good luck with your decision. :smile1:

Was thinking of picking up a speedy b as my first LV bag. (I actually bought a speedy 30 DA and 30 mono but...for my in-laws, so, I still don't have one.) I don't like the appearance of darkened patina and water spots, so, I'd want the treated leather of the ebene. But, I wanted to ask what people thought of the long strap on the ebene speedy b. I wear all my bags at hip length, so, I'd need the extender there -- or a different strap, altogether. But, I am pretty sure that the buckle that ends up being higher (if you have an idea of what I'm talking about..) will not only have a long, dangling end (because I'm not that tall, but, the individual pieces are long enough to leave a bit dangling once you insert the end into the little loop), but, would press against me and the ebene strap itself seems like it'd be stiff enough to eat into my shoulder if I have anything dense/heavy in the bag. I was considering the empreinte speedy b, but, I wanted the lighter weight of canvas (and I don't like those large hooks for the ends of the straps).

What are people's experiences with the ebene strap? Thanks

Does anybody know if the pouch that comes with the Neverfulls would fit inside Speedy 30? I mean how awkward is it to put inside the speedy 30 from the mouth opening? Hope someone can help, I am considering getting the pouch preloved to use inside my Speedy :)

I hope I'm posting this on the right thread....I've been considering buying a Speedy b 30 in damier ebene for a long time. I'm torn between a Saint Laurent Sac de Jour and the LV (I know, 2 totally different looks!) Anyway, my question is this: at almost 60 years old, is the Speedy too young and casual for me? I really love it, but I don't want to look silly! I would really appreciate any and all opinions-

After reading this thread from the beginning to maybe to the 100th page, I decided I wanted to be part of this club! Initially thought I'd get the 35, but when I went to the store and tried both on, got the Speedy B DE in 30 instead. Can't wait to use her!
