That’s great that you had a good experience and (presumably) got a good deal!

Another option was for TRR to do the work you did and sell it for more $$. Which would be a no-brainer for them if they had their operations working well.

I remain at arms length until hearing about actual improvements there….
my impression is that TRR is a very large company and they just take in (or reject)bags, don't do any rehab. from what I've heard here sometimes their items are better than described and sometimes worse. guess I've been lucky. I recently got two good ones from them. one was described at VG and one as good.

You are correct. I was just pointing out that there is a “leaving money on the table” aspect to their business model, which I totally get is probably unrealistic to change in the current labor climate.

Their intake people do seem to have time to damage items (perhaps for their own side-gigs) that they reject and send back to consignors. My last consignment included footwear - my LM said they would accept several pairs of Prada and Gucci with light wear, which she herself reviewed. They were rejected, and as a reward for my troubles they came back to me with the previously intact sole logo plates removed or destroyed.

I don't think I'd sell there.....for one thing (aside from the horrid things you said), they determine price and I'd probably get very little

Has anybody noticed the process for returns has changed?

Instead of providing a PDF with the return authorization memo and label, you get a “link” to download your label. When you click on the link, it brings you to the TRR home page with no access to the RMA and shipping label.

I think TRR is making it more difficult to return products. It’s definitely going to have a chilling effect on my future purchases.

One more thing I noticed about TRR that really annoyed me is that I noticed they jack up the prices on certain items on the 15th of each month...I'm sure it's because that's the day the consignors get paid in site credits and they figure people won't notice. I've been eyeing a pair of Gucci shoes for a month and was ready to purchase today, but noticed the price was $57 higher than it's been for the past month. So buyer beware.

I bought a men's "Brunello Cucinelli" shirt recently, but when I got it the tag said "ermengildo zegna." I returned the shirt and emailed TRR about the error...they refunded my money and the return shipping but re-listed the item again as a Brunello Cucinelli. :hrmm:
I had a similar experience just this month. I bought Frame jeans that were listed as women, but they were men's. The interior tags specifically said so. They relisted them again as women. :confused1: I've been fortunate to only have minor things like this happen with my purchases. I've always been fully refunded when it's been their error.

So far I love buying on TRR. I got a Louboutin purse, and a LV multicolore french wallet recently. Both at a total steal, and quick shipping. i want a YSL Loulou purse, but it's priced a little high.
Does anyone know if they discount at regular intervals like Fashionphile? Or how frequently they offer the "buy some & get a site credit"?

I got one $25 off coupon and I think I got a second one (not sure). the first one I had been putting the handbag into my cart for few weeks when it popped up

My first ever TRR purchase is coming this week. I swore I’d never give them the time of day, but they were the only ones atm selling this bag I’ve been dying for, aside from eBay (which I trust even less). Interested to see how it turns out!

hope it's good....how did they categorize it? good/very good?
I got one that was VG and one that was good. Both turned out fine after a bit of cleanup

Their discounts are never consistent. You will see an item discounted 60% one day, go back the next and the discount will have changed to 50% or even worse.
