I have probably returned about half my purchases from them but am very happy with what I've kept. The returns have all been because of their being wrong on item's condition (I don't understand how some obvious things were missed). I have never had to pay return shipping and they have always refunded the initial shipping charge back to my original form of payment. Generally customer service agreed to do this, but I've had to ask for a supervisor once or twice. Supervisors also have offered to make things right, either by offering to discount an item due to condition misrepresentation, or in one memorable instance they offered to refund me back to my credit card the price for Hermes spa repair of a bag TRR claimed was in better condition than it actually was. Even though it took 6 weeks just to get a repair quote, TRR stood by the promise and the bag came back from spa looking brand new.

So I made another purchase .......two items shipped separate.
Received the first item - 90 Hermes silk scarf - VERY wadded up in the TRR bag - literally rolled into a ball. htf scarf that was not cheap....condition as described. Pristine yes but seriously seriously wrinkled. :P
Received the second item - another 90 Hermes scarf - listed as Pristine - ummm no. Two runs in the corner - can't hide that flaw - paid over retail as it was also htf and from many moons ago......back it went.
Moral of this story.....as @jenaywins stated - go in with low expectations!

I wonder how hard or labor intensive it would be to simply post more pics in the listing. It may reduce their returns!

Whenever they send me those surveys, in all the comment areas I only write, "more photos of the items for sale are needed".

Tell me, do they just automatically include a little "This it is final sale and not returnable" tag in every item they sell? Because I've bought 4 clearly returnable items and yet they all had that tag! I guess that's just high hopes on their part. Also some have come with no security tag attached.

My luck will most likely run out but I’ve had nothing but great experiences with TRR on the buying and selling side. They sold a bag that Ann’s had listed for 3 months in 1 day. As far as purchases, with the exception of 1 item, all were as described with one item being described incorrectly and it ironed out to me a total holy grail that was just mislabeled (good for me but probably not the seller who could have gotten more for it). The one item that I returned was a max Mara coat came with a giant ink mark all over the exterior pocket - someone literally drew on the pocket with pen (giant circles)!!! Needless to say I returned and the only thing I lost was shipping both ways.
I haven’t sold with them in awhile and given some of the things I’ve read, I am hesitating a bit.

I'm having an odd experience selling with TRR and wonder if anyone can help, because no one I've talked to there can.

I consigned a LV Keepall and a pair of Hermes earrings. Both were accepted pending price approval. The Keepall was DH's and he was sort of on the fence about consigning it but when the price came back much lower than expected he decided no. The price on the H earrings was fine. HOWEVER, the price approval screen on the webpage and app only offers the option to approve, not to reject. Even worse, it only offers to approve BOTH and there seems to be no way to approve one and reject the other. Actually, seems to be no way to reject at all.

I've tried texting with and calling support, asking "luxury concierge" :eyeroll: but they keep saying it's possible despite my sending screenshots. When they see the screen shot support tells me to reach out to concierge and vice versa. Anyone experience this?

FYI, I finally called again and was connected to someone who could solve over the phone!

This is why I'm not dealing with TRR again. Sloppy.

+1

I dropped a couple of things off in the store when I went to return an item I bought that had *a partially wadded up receipt around dried up chewing gum with a person's name clearly legible on the receipt* inside it. They did take it back, despite "no returns," but to my horror did not seem very surprised or apologetic about it being there in the first place. :shudder: Never again, which stinks because I am looking for a few very specific discontinued pieces so preloved is my only option, but will not consider TRR

Geez.....This scarf is back on the site still listed as Pristine still over retail but in reality it has two runs. Very obvious ones.

so if they offer a discount code (20% off or whatever) and the item is already reduced, you put the code in an it doesn't work, that's because it's already reduced?

Yes I believe this is correct. I don't understand what the point is of them sending out a 20% off code. Many items are 20% off when listed. And the ones that aren't I believe usually state discounts don't apply. I feel like it's just a marketing ploy to get someone to the site but almost feels like bait and switch.

I know
I tried using the code an another items that wasn't reduced and got a message saying discounts don't apply to this item
annoying

I'm looking at a slouchy hobo bag on TRR and in the condition notes it says "heavy pull at base" - but none of the item photos show the base! I am a bit unclear what "pull" means in this context, can anyone provide some insight?
