Hi ya'll. I don't know how many guys in this page with pochette metis. I have a pochette metis in reverse, but I don't-in fact-never used the strap it came with it....I find it too thin. I bought a plain black guitar-wide strap on Amazon and I love it-makes it more masculine. It matches the black handle and front lip accent. Should I sell the PM strap on eBay? Yes or no?

I would say no unless you are 110% sure you are never going to re-sell it, as I can imagine that would make it harder to sell or at least lower the value of it:smile:

Thank you so much for checking. The bag is almost perfect in every other way so would have been so bummed if it was a defect.

But after stalking YT aswell I can see that the length of the back pocket is a little inconsistant in general. Guess thats what you get with LV ‍♀️

Haha, as Bags4Beauty mentioned you could try to get a strap pad for it (I think this was a great idea)! At least if it’s the comfort that’s bothering you, and not the looks of it:smile: Personally, I think it wouldn’t look as nice if the strap was wider, but I can agree that it is a bit uncomfortable sometimes if I wear it for several hours when the bag is heavy loaded :P

Is it practical to have two of the same bags? I recently sold a lot of my bags and looking to purchase something. I already have the pochette Métis in mono. I am contemplating on purchasing it in the empreinte leather in noir. But would it make sense to have two or should I just sell my mono one?

depends on how much you like it ? I have 2 empreinte PM - one in marine rouge and one in black. The marine rouge one is more casual while the black one is more formal. love both designs.

would love to have a monogram but am so tired of all the issues :(

I'm quite partial to the PM. As a guy who has the reverse---I love the briefcase look of it. If you love it so much, buy it because you can always re-sell it in the future ;)

I have two. Got the noir first and love it so much I got the reverse. It’s just so easy to use. I figured the leather and canvas are different enough to warrant owning both.

I have two PMs - got the reverse first and love it soo much that I got the empreint in black three months later .... very practical..

I have two PMs: the empreinte noir and the reverse. I scored the mono too but decided maybe 3 was too many and returned it. Regret doing that sometimes.
