I have multiples of styles I like...2 Pochette Metis, 2 Clapton PM, 2 Surene MM, 3 Vavin PM, etc. if you like it, why not?
Confirmed with client services, they have changed the canvas for the Mono and it now has a new item number M44875. I was able to order one and will be able to update you all this weekend. I owned the original version from 2014 and I own the reverse from 2016.. I think I’ll be able to see if there is indeed a difference!!
but does it mean that it would be less "scarce" ?
also, apparently, this model number change only applies to US. On the European sites, its still the old model number.

Wow I didn’t expect so many replies from everyone! I haven’t used my mono one at all. I love the style of the bag but I’ve been waiting to get a bandeau to wrapped the handle up because I am not careful with my bags as I used to be. The reason I wanted to get an empreinte leather is so I don’t have to worry about stains or such. I read a lot about the issues with the mono and I hope mine won’t be like that. I’ve been eyeing the reverse mono too but that seems impossible to get my hands on it! So many decisions !
I agree, the reverse mono is difficult to come by. LV should just keep making more to have enough supply for the demand. My reverse mono is almost two years old and I still like it so far. I don't use that flimsy and uninteresting and dull strap that came with it, not once I used it. I bought a plain black guitar strap on Amazon and it matches the black handle and front lip accent. It's a little more masculine now. LOL. In conclusion, I think you should opt for the metis..

My purchase just came in yesterday and want to inquire if this bag looks normal? Everything looks good except both sides of the bag seems to be very wavy? bunched up? not sure how to express it but seems messy, could you pls check out the photos and let me know if this is normal and how usually it looks?

Hi @luxfishin I checked your photos and I got goosebumps seeing those multiple folds. Mine doesn't have that but mine is from 2017 unless the new batch has those- I don't know. It just doesn't right to me [those wrinkles]. There's no way to circumvent that but to notify LV or your SA about it so you can maybe get a replacement. That's unacceptable!! Anyone? Your Thoughts?
I’m not home at the moment so I don’t have my bag with me but I looked at a photo I took when I purchased it and mine did not seem to have those wrinkles.
Here’s a photo of it standing by itself - I did not stretch mine open like you did so idk if mine will look like that if I did?
