So after returning 3 reverse monogram metis I decided to give the Eden mm (discontinued) a shot. It seems similar but better designed/made and larger. Just will need to get a Crossbody strap for it since it only comes with a shoulder strap. Anyone have one?

Getting my PM collected on Monday.
Beyond upset. Been waiting 6 months for this bag.
Going to get a refund and wait for a few months to see if LV sort this mess out and then will try and reorder.
I'm a strong believer that pre-loved is the way to go now-a-days with lv. If you want quality anyways. They just don't seem to care anymore. If I spend $2,000 on a bag then I expect it to be durable and 99% flawless. I love the pm but I think the design of bag is just prone to issues regardless. If they want to keep it in their line they need to make some modifications. Look at the eden bag, which has the same general design. It was made so much better in terms of how it will wear due to having less glazed edges etc. Their bags are mostly made of plastic and painted metal...clearly their profit margin is absurd. There is no excuse for the sloppy work. IMO

Joining the club (again).. I have mono, I sold it due to glazing issues.. I bought infra rouge, I sold it because I am too scared the same glazing issues will happen again.. But I like PM so much, I like the simple design, I like the compartments, I like the pocket behind the bag for my iphone, so I decided to get in Emp Marine Rouge.. I really hope everything is will be ok.. I have Emp Speedy in marine rouge and so far so good with the glazing..

So here is my interesting discovery today. I ordered a reverse metis pochette online last week and it arrived Wednesday at my home. I was not excited about it as I thought I might be. Drove two hours to Toronto today to return with a list of other bags I wanted to consider. Stock is super low. I walked in - knowing the regular metis was sold out - and told the SA I wanted to return since I knew I couldn't get the mono metis. He said no - they were sold out. I looked at a few other items and he left and came back carrying a metis in regular mono. Apparently, it was on reserve until yesterday but the person did not come in. I said - isn't there a waitlist? He told me that since I was in store and looking to exchange - I would get priority and the person on the waitlist would get called next after me. I was kind of shocked - and yet, it kind of makes sense.

I just came from the Bloor store. Was looking at emp noir. Disappointed with glazing under the lock. I think they tried to sell me ur returned reverse metis if u returned at this store lol. The SA kept saying I have a reverse in stock. Unfortunately it doesn't excite me as much as the emp metis so I passed.

I did! I like the Empriente too. Yes - I had an issue with the glazing under the lock on that reverse - and yes, that is where I returned it.

Oh boy. I guess these returned bags with imperfections get passed on to other consumers with the hopes that they won't notice. The emp noir that I saw with the glazing imperfection under the lock went right back into the drawer, waiting to be sold.
I am a bit turned off from LV right now. I picked up my repair from there and at home I noticed they didn't line up the pattern straight when they replaced the bottom of my Montsouris GM. I checked my before and after pics and my bag was perfectly aligned before going in.
I used to take comfort in knowing if I bought the PM and had an issue LV would repair it correctly, now I am not sure after seeing my poor repair.

Yesss! All of THIS ^^^^^ it's completely absurd.

I just feel like--when, a company is this large, they really don't need consumers, and this is where the difference lay in EVERYTHING, from true quality to exceptional CS.

Aww so sorry about your repair. I definitely understand, it is a bit off putting...

Of course, LV is going to sell those bags, regardless...sadly. They are business out to make a profit.
I guess they figure what bothers one, may not bother the next...

Also, if the person isn't detailed-oriented, they probably wouldn't even notice the flaw, or they may not even know what to look for.

To each their own...

Thxs. I'm just so sad... the bag looks fake to me now cause these vintage bags all pretty much are lined up the same with the 6 tips of the flowers showing across the bottom. I am missing 2.

Awww. I think you should take it back, and tell them you are not completely satisfied or happy with the repair. I would. You don't have to say that, but just let them know how you feel.
