I just had to return my reverse PM because of white spots.The spots started peeling!! My SA took it back and got me a new one.Hi everyone
I purchased online my first LV piece -a pochette metis on February this year. It is made in France. I have only used it 3 times. However, I noticed that the coating cavas on the inside flap has some white spots. It is so strange that it has those white spots because I have taken so much care every of the 3 times I have used it. I called customer service and they told me that I should take it to a LV store. But, I am so desperate and disappointed, I need to know if that is normal, I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to this issue with the bag? Do you think I will have to pay for it or they can replace it? even though it has passed almost 5 months since I purchased it. Here are some pictures....Thanks!!
Usually an entire line is made in a particular country; the mono PM started MIF but now is MIU. There is nothing wrong with MIU if you really like the bag. But I totally get it that LV is a French company and MIF is most desirable. I feel the same way- most of my LV is MIF but a few pieces are MIS and MIU.That tag is enough for me to pass on this bag
At least there is no LV MIC or Tunesia or a 3rd world where labor is exploited. To my knowledge anyway.

The Empreinte Metis is similar to the discontinued Fascinante. If you look at we'll used ones they are saggy looking but don't seem to lose the embossing. It's understated. I love my mono and am sticking with that. 
I just received one too and it can look crooked when there's nothing in it or if something in it is just making it stick on more on one side. Hopefully that's all it is!
Thanks for your reply! I thought it looked odd but wasn't sure since it's the only one I've seen in person. The other side isn't very good either. I think I'll return it. I just hate waiting!

Photos were taken from my iPhone 7 plus. I am totally in love with it. It will be my everyday bag. I've only had her for 2 days but so far I've really enjoyed using her. I haven't thought about getting a matching key pouch and didn't even know they had it in this colour but now that you mention it I'll have to look into it 
Just received my (first) Pochette Metis that somehow I managed to order from UK website the other day. It is a beauty, MII and even though the date code states 6th week of 2017, it seems that quality control is still not working great and learned nothing...
Just take a look at these pictures. Needless to say the bag is going back, the customer service was very helpful and I am supposed to be on a priority waiting list (?) as the bag was confirmed defective via email...
I am not being picky here right? That white gunk around the red edges and the fact that it actually splits in half, especially that I did not wear it even once, it's straight from the box! The other side looks okay... So disappointed!

Wow have you had any canvas or glazing issues? I just ordered with my sa last week and originally wanted a infrarouge but decided on reverse after looking through the forums. How long have you had it and where was it made? Thanks for your help!
