Just received my (first) Pochette Metis that somehow I managed to order from UK website the other day. It is a beauty, MII and even though the date code states 6th week of 2017, it seems that quality control is still not working great and learned nothing...

Just take a look at these pictures. Needless to say the bag is going back, the customer service was very helpful and I am supposed to be on a priority waiting list (?) as the bag was confirmed defective via email...

I am not being picky here right? That white gunk around the red edges and the fact that it actually splits in half, especially that I did not wear it even once, it's straight from the box! The other side looks okay... So disappointed!

Oh no you're not being picky at all!! I can't believe that passed qc, I'm sure you won't have any problems requesting an exchange.

Would you guys wear a pochette metis at a music festival?

I wouldn't. There's too much chance that the bag would get damaged. Someone could bump into you, drinks could get spilled, or the bag might just get knocked around. Due to the fact that the Pochette Metis has inconsistent/low availability, the chances of getting it replaced might be slim to none. I love going to music festivals and shows so I just bring something small that I don't mind possibly getting roughed up like an inexpensive "knock around bag" or my cles. Those items are easier to replace IMO.

What made you fall out of love with the PM empreinte? For me, I don't like the lining of the inside of the bag. I'm still undecided.

I agree, I don't think I I'm in love with it either! I was highly anticipating this bag but when I saw it, it didn't wow me. I'm glad I didn't sell my twice! I do however ABSOLUTELY love my Monogram Pochette Metis! That is a bag I often reach for!

I dont know. It's too monogram, all over. Maybe it's because I've been eyeing the saint germain bb for too long but it's too overpriced for a really small bag.

I returned by PM monogram because the left side started to peel off & got a Cluny BB Epi instead. Based on the pics of the PM empreinte, looks it will most likely happen again, peeling off on the side where there is more pressure on flap.

They didn't change the lining for the PM Empreinte - a lot of the Empreinte pieces actually have the textile lining (Artsy, Speedy, Melie). Maybe they just do it for contrast.
