i just bought this bag. I own several other lv bags and consider myself a sort of collector. I can honestly say that that this bag (at least the one i purchased, which was miu) is very well made and seems v high quality. It's also completely different from any other bag i own. And the nice thing about it is that it is technically a small bag w medium sized capacity. And even when you stuff it, it's comfortable on the shoulder, unlike my speedy b 30 which causes me some shoulder pain sometimes (although i still love it). Anyway, i guess my point is, imho it's a great, well made bag that is unique, beautiful, well designed, functional, and sturdy. I also think it's a classic that will stand the test of time. I say go for it! :smile1:

I went to go look at the PM yesterday because I've been reading so much about them and I wanted to try it on before deciding. But the SA told me they're all out! He said that they will be discontinuing the bag...is this true!? I want one so badly but he said to expect 3 weeks to get one!

Yes there have been wait lists for this item for a while now.

Thanks for the info. My PM is MII and the LV letter is upside down inside the flap. I called Client Service today and I am being told it is not defect. It is because they used the whole piece of canvas to make the flap, so the inside part is upside down. Should I return the bag? It is still within 30 days, so I can exchange to another one. But I have to wait for CS to request a new one. There is no LV store in my city. I can only send it back to the online store. It is a bit hassle for me. I don't mind to wait for the bag though. Any suggestion? Thanks a lot.

To those of you who received made in Italy ones, please check the inside of the flap. I received one that had the canvas pattern upside down (the letter "LV" are upside down). I took it back to the store and the SA first said that must be the way it is. But after checking the pic on official website and checking a few ones MIU (reserved and paid by other clients), she and the manager were both shocked. Of course I returned it. It is a BIG defect! So ladies go check the inside of the flap!

I puchased online and received the MII one last week. The inside LVs are indeed upside down. I reordered another one and it arrived today. On the inside back tab where it says Louis Vuitton Paris, there is no "Made In"... labeling. So I don't know where this bag was made in. The date code is SD2126. Does anyone know if this is a USA made bag?

Yep USA. Should be a cloth tag on the inside.

If it bothers you then return/exchange. I personally would prefer MII over MIU and most often than not the replacement will be MIU. It's really hard to get MIF or MII nowadays, at least that's what I heard for Canada and USA. Just my personal preference, no difference in quality that I have heard.

Made in USA. Whenever there isn't the "made in...", it means made in USA.

Thank you for the info. Do you know why they don't put Made in USA? My Trevi PM from 2009 was MIU and it was clearly stated as such on the tag...

Starting a few years ago they started putting the tags "Made in USA from Imported Materials" instead on the MIU stamping. I believe it has to do with regulations that if you put MIU, all parts & manufacturing has to be MIU. Since the US factory gets the parts from France and only is constructed here, they had to put the "from imported materials". I guess they couldn't fit all that on the stamp...lol
