I had an original PM made in 2014 pre-loved and in pristine condition. It looked like it came straight from the store. Yes, the quality is different and I think it's because the new canvas is softer and that allows for the bag to kind of not be as structured. The original had a thicker better quality feeling canvas that I wish they still used for the newer models. The old model was known for glazing issues but I've seen more issues with the newer models than the old PM. Either way though it is a nice bag, but I think we're seeing so much flaws because LV is trying to crank out as much PM bags to keep up with demand.

I'm still wavering back and forth about weather or not to return my MIU metis :( Honestly, mine is beautifully made, no flaws regarding the clasp, stitching, and glazing. I know even some that were made in France and Italy had some issues too... but it sucks because I know I just missed the MIF or Italy shipment by a few days to weeks :( Any opinions ladies on what you would do??

I can definitely see what you mean by the slanted clasp. I thought mine was perfectly made but now that you've mentioned mine may be a little slanted as well. I need to go back and check on it but seems tiny bit slanted in the picture I posted. Where was yours made? I wonder once the metis is full if the problem will be corrected... hmmm...

Thanks for your reply, mine was also made in the US, I think yours looks much better than mine. After going through the other pics posted, I decide to take it back and exchange one

I would definitely take the bag back. You won't be happy with it trust me! Also the left side of the bag facing us looks dented. That's not normal either. You could stuff your bag to see if it pops out, but I would exchange it ASAP.

It seems to bother you, I would return/exchange it, because it doesn't seem like you're very happy. 🙁 I'm the same way, I bought my first Chanel bag two years ago and I was hoping for a MIF, but since that bag was veryyy hard to find, I settled but I am happy I did. My bag hasn't been re-released for two years now and it's rare. Four bags later I got my first MIF Chanel. If it's important to you, I would wait for what you want, especially since the pm is still in production. Good luck Hun.

I'm concerned about the lock where we have to push it to snap it in. Worried the constant touching many times a day will cause the gold to fade. Any ideas on how to protect it? I liked the clear screen cover idea. We all know LV hardware isn't like it used to be! ;)

I feel the same way as you! I don't have a PM yet but I've already turned down one MIU. Still trying my luck a couple more times to see if I can find a MIF. I'm still not sure whether I will settle for a MIU or how long I will search for before I give up. There are only so many times I can reserve a bag or buy online and return a bag before LV gets annoyed with me, right? [emoji23]

need your opinions, i'm planning on using a twilly on my pochette metis but I don't wanna buy the expensive one. my reason, i always use lotion and sanitizer and I know i'll just make the twilly dirty. I'm planning on buying those cheap twilly from ebay/amazon. Will it stain the leather? has anyone used inexpensive twilly? TIA :)

So I've decided! I'm returning my PM to get a black Chanel Chevron Mini Square in Lambskin that's made in France! I'm a bit worried about the lambskin part but the piece is just too gorgeous to be passed on!

I was thinking to get the LV bandeau but they are quiet long , twilly is better size but i don't want to pay alot either ! [emoji28]
