Thank you soo much!The Empriente Metis is my most used bag! I have black & rose Poudre & they are very sturdy everyday bags.
The RP is 5 years old and the only noticeable wear is a small amount of rubbing from the crossbody strap which caused some color loss. Otherwise the bag looks just as good as the day I purchased it.
The black is 3 years old & id say it’s held up extremely well. The embossing is still deep and it’s held its shape nicely! It looks basically new to me.
I also have the reverse mono & I love it as a casual bag. It is also very hard wearing and should last you a long time. I can’t remember how old it is, but it still looks new.
Of your choices I’d recommend the black Empriente. I think it’s the prettiest of the two

These two bags are the same style, but they are very different from each other, if that makes any sense. I have a reverse mono from 2022 and I love it, but I don't always want to have obvious logos all over my stuff. Empreinte can fly under the radar a little more, especially in a dark color. It might have taken me 3 years to save up for the black one, but I think it's worth it to have alternatives in a style that fits me well.
It also depends on what colors you tend to wear most. Would the browns of reverse mono go better with your wardrobe, or black? Do you wear a lot of prints or mostly solid colors? Monogram is almost a neutral at this point, but black goes with everything, always, effortlessly.
Bottom line: which color makes your heart happy?
Yes, mine is 6ish years old and has cracks but nothing that has caused any problems. It’s normal.To all PM lovers:
Question, do your PMs do the same (small beginning cracks in the glazing where the flap bends)?

Mine is about 6 months old. Problem is, I would hate to give it to LV repair service as they once ruined a bag from mine. And the cognac color PM is not available any more.
So I hope it is just an optical issue

Oh this looks like a well used and well loved bag! I kind of like the character it adds to the bag, especially the worn corners
