Yes... The only way to either "love it" or it's "so so" is to wear it. Then decide sell or keep (then buy another in leather). :biggrin:

Love my 2yr old empreinte noir. Still perfect.. no cracking or glazing issues, perfectly aligned closure. I had yearned for a mono then a PM reverse, but purchased the empreinte noir instead because it was just more attractive on me, if that makes sense.

Try to wear yours consistently. See if you even like the bag. At the end of the day, you may not even like PM on itseful.

BUT, if you really do, THEN you can contemplate getting it in empreinte. Otherwise all this buying and selling will cost you a lot of money. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you! I think you have a good point. Im gonna start wear it and try to Enjoy it. It wont hurt the resellvalue waiting for another year!

Did anyone try putting a water bottle, mini umbrella and glasses case in it? Wonder how it will look like in the bag and when closed. If you have time, would be thankful if you can take a photo and post here. Thank you

I looks authentic. The only thing that bothers me is the dustbag, the lettersare too thick. And a metis from 2016 should have a tab on the zipper… but Im not 100% sure. Google it!

I finally got this bag! Im very excited. Ive inspected bag and so far so good. I wanted to ask abput the print on the front flap and the supposed lining up issues? It looks ok but the print pn the flap and bag it wont ever be perfectly matched will it?

If it's not an obvious issue, keep the bag! I think the print and alignment changes slightly depending on what you have in the bag.

I have had my eye on this bag for years and am seriously considering making it mine this year, but I do have some worries after repeatedly reading about issues with glazing, sticky locks, and cracked canvas. I would use it for my everyday bag and wouldn’t necessarily want to baby it, although I’m not particularly rough on my bags either. I have a one year old so cross bodies work really well for items that I need quick access to, and I travel light because everything else that I need is in the diaper bag or my car. I initially fell in love with the mono version but noir empreinte would be my second choice. I just don’t know if I should be considering something else all together with my concerns. I’m open to any advice. Thanks for reading! :smile:
