It's a great bag. As u can see, I have the turtledove. I did have an issue with the glazing on my first one but I think that is rare with empreinte, at least it was at the time I had the issue. LV ordered me a new bag and this one is fine! I had initially ordered the monogram, but I wasn't crazy about it on me. I think u can't go wrong. If u love it, try it! I think they will work with u if u have trouble with the glazing. As far as the lock, I have no issues. However, it is difficult to close when the bag or the front pocket is empty.I have had my eye on this bag for years and am seriously considering making it mine this year, but I do have some worries after repeatedly reading about issues with glazing, sticky locks, and cracked canvas. I would use it for my everyday bag and wouldn’t necessarily want to baby it, although I’m not particularly rough on my bags either. I have a one year old so cross bodies work really well for items that I need quick access to, and I travel light because everything else that I need is in the diaper bag or my car. I initially fell in love with the mono version but noir empreinte would be my second choice. I just don’t know if I should be considering something else all together with my concerns. I wish I could pull off a lighter leather but I’d be so worried about it getting dirty. I’m glad to hear that LV seems to be accommodating when issues do arise. I’m not near a store so I would be relying on customer support from afar. My only LV bag is a DE Eva clutch, which I haven’t had any issues with thankfully, but I also don’t use it often.
Looks like the canvas chipped, but not sure as I can't see clearly from the photo. If it is, I'd personally return. If its just a glue residue, it can easily be removed.

That is awesome! Is this one of your go-to bags? I want mine to be the one I wear most days. I don’t really switch up my bags much throughout the week. Usually just for special occasions and nights out, which have been pretty nonexistent over the past couple of years! But we’re ready to start venturing out a little more now.
It is one of my go-to bags. I do switch out my bags, but for a bag that I need to hold everything I need, I use it pretty often. Not only does it hold quite a bit, but it's crossbody and I find the empreinte to be pretty carefree. I carried it in the rain yesterday.
That’s great! I definitely want something carefree. Not that the vachetta really worries me too much because patina doesn’t bother me and I can’t see myself using it as a top handle bag. I always wondered what this bag would look like in DE. That’s honestly my favorite canvas print and I like the brown leather more. A girl can dream I guess.

Just got the Marine Rouge preloved in excellent condition. Carried it for three weeks, and the Noir is on the way now for when my outfit calls for a black bag. Great work and every day purse as a cross body, dressier occasions as a top handle. . Can’t believe it took me so long to get on the pouchette metis bandwagon!!
I have 2, noir and reverse for almost 3 years now and they are my most used bags. I haven’t had any issues and I don’t baby them but I’m also not super rough with them either.
