I got my PM (monogram) in March 2021. This morning I just noticed a big crack on the canvas strap - I didn’t even use the strap for many months over the summer because I used a vachetta strap! Fortunately it’s on the bottom side of the strap so it isn’t obvious when I wear it. Could it get worse?

any idea what I should do? I’m not where the receipt is - I wouldn’t have thrown it out but I’m not great at organizing receipts. It is listed in my LV account though.

It's not a crack, like others have said it's where it overlaps and is joined.

Hi, I've been an on and off lurker on the forums (more off than on) and longtime LV lover. The last bag I purchased was my mono Montainge bb in Spain back in 2017 (hello, tax free!). I'm kicking myself for not purchasing the PM (mono) before the several price increases but just couldn't get my mind off it. Now, on top of price increases, many of the bags (including PM) are hard to get!!! I was finally able to purchase the empreinte PM online yesterday and hoping I can pick it up this weekend! Phew, what a ride. :biggrin:

Update on the PM: I’m so sad to report that the bag had glazing issues that I wasn’t comfortable keeping it:sad: such a bummer, as I love both mono and empreinte (would have purchased my Montaigne in empreinte had they had one in stock during that time)! Debating going the pre-love route, that way I have my choice between both AND not having to wait :idea: we shall see!

Happy to join the Pochette Métis Club! Just got her last Thursday and have been using her ever since. Ordered her on LV Online and she is Made in the USA. I am Very Happy! Thank you to Purseforum (BooYa) for alerting me that this HTF Handbag was In Stock!

Hi Lovelies! I am happy to join the PM club. I got the empreinte version in marine rouge and this is my first piece in empreinte leather. The alignment and embossing are fine but there is something on the top handle that’s bothering me. I tried reading through the thread since 2017 hoping to find something similar. Please help check photos if the white stuff which look like excess glue (?) will bother you. I tried to gently peel them off but it’s not that easy and I’m scared to ruin the leather or glazing. I am 5 hours away (by car) from the nearest LV store so not sure if it will be worth the trip to exchange. My SA always tells me there is no perfect bag, there will always be minor issues as these are handmade.

Last year, I was bothered by my Neverfull MM’s alignment and was able to get the opinion of the LV boutique - only about 20 minutes away from me. They practically laughed me out of the store - And they were right! You took very good, detailed pictures. Have you thought of sending them to LV Concierge for an opinion - peace of mind?

I have tried emailing LV customer service about my complaints before, first for my Neverfull GM because it looked like the handles were starting to crack and then my Palm springs mini because of alignment, both instances they advised to bring the bags to my nearest store so they can be inspected. I thought I won’t have any worries with empreinte but here I go again. I see these extra gluelike peeling on my canvas slgs and I just rub them off but is it the same for empreinte? This time it feels like it’s stuck between the leather and glazing .
