After each time I’ve used the bag, I’ve made sure to put it back in its dust bag and I store it in its LV box laying on it’s back (zipper) side so there’s no way the crease is from the way it’s stored. When I feel that part of the canvas compared to the rest of the bottom, it feels like the canvas has been stored folded in half at the crease which isn’t even possible because of where the crease is and makes me think I received the bag from LV with this flaw.
Does this affect the use of the bag? Or is it more of a vanity thing? It’s also on the bottom where nobody except for you can see… I wouldn’t stress over it.

They said it’s considered normal wear and tear. But I really think it’s just a flaw in the canvas on my bag. After each time I use my bag, I store it in its dust bag and put it back in the box laying flat on the back (zipper) side so there’s no way that could’ve caused it to crease at the bottom like that. I must say I’m pretty disappointed in LV’s quality control.
I don't think it's a good idea to store canvas inside the box. It needs to breathe. The dust bag is sufficient. I know the box didn't cause your issue, but I figured I would add that comment.

I’m thinking of purchasing an empreinte noir instead of another reverse. Anyone got an advice on what I should look for when buying empreinte?
I suggest to check all the glazing, the structure of both sides and the bottom of the bag as well as the zipper of the back pocket. I am not sure if you also prefer a deep embossing that’s consistent all throughout.

Hi everyone - help needed if you would be so kind. I'm in love with my 3yr old pochette metis empreinte. Moderately used. However the glazing has recently rubbed off the sides of the top handle, where it passes through the leather loops either side. Has anyone with a PM empreinte of a similar age had similar issues? I will take it to my local store but should I bother if only to be told its normal wear/tear after 3 yrs? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Just in case you'd helps anyone - I took my 2018 LV empreinte PM into a UK store today and the lovely SA repair specialist is sending it off to Paris for a free repair as the glazing on the handle has worn off. The glazing is everso slightly cracked on the flap too after nearly 4 yrs of use, but that's being repaired too

After much trial and error, I finally got one with deep embossing. I've learned that the deeper it is, the better the look will hold up over time. I guess that would be my "look for" when looking to buy it.
I also realized that it doesn't matter where the purse is made, the same defects were noticed on MIF bags as the ones made in the US.
Hope that helps.

Thank you so much!
I will also add that I LVOE the slim purse. I used the Felicie card holder insert before but found myself lacking a place to put coins. This is honestly the best of both worlds. I also love the pocket it in front for receipts, etc. My only con is that I wish it was slightly more narrow in the width. With certain bags like the Gucci Disco, it doesn't easily come in and out.

Thank you so much for the info! I was thinking well maybe I should go more compact but I ultimately think I want the slim purse.
