Hi! Mine is a reverse mono which I still love and prefer. The canvas “cracking” are not common on recent year Pochette Métis bags. The 2014-16 generation were a disaster and many were recalled. LV are amazing at fixing their issues and I would absolutely keep and enjoy the bag. Mine had a slight lifting of the glazing issue which LV fixed complimentary within 40 days. My bag was 2 years old at that point. I travelled/wore it daily for several years. It is still new looking: no wear on the corners or around flaps.Thank you! I have seen so many negatives about this bag. I came across one from a friends SA today and purchased it without researching it. When looking into it it seems so many have had issues with canvas cracks or glazing separating that I am now skeptical if I should keep it. I would probably be using it as more of an everyday bag. I was deciding between the pochette Métis and the Alma BB. Is your bag the monogram version or the reverse?
I since transitioned to Chanel mostly but PM is a beautiful casual bag I still cherish. Im actually thinking to add the new PM in that grey-blue with SHW they just released.
One more thing: I LOVED PM and heard about the recalls/canvas issues around the time I was buying mine. I still wanted it because.. well, it’s just one of the best casual bags ever. I knew LV were 100% behind their repairs and glad I took a chance on this model. The worse that can happen in the next 3-4 years is that you’ll send it in for repairs. The years I travelled/daily enjoyed this bag were well worth 40 days it was in repairs.
