Wow I’ve never heard of the logo peeling. Was that on this thread?

Took your advice and returned the defected one (they couldn’t do an exchange because item was out of stock). I stalked the website that night and was able to get one, before the price increase too! She arrived today and looks perfect! Thanks to everyone who told me to return it :)

Hi All,
Please help…just picked this beauty up. Made in France. Great condition BUT the glazing. I don’t know what to do. I even got it at the price before the increase. One size of the glazing is perfect otherside…not so much :(. Looks like the one side that’s not good that they went over and redid it again making the glazing thicker and bumpy to the touch. Do I chance waiting to exchange it for a better one probably be US made but it never seems like the alignment is very good

The glazing is never perfect, but you have to be able to live with it. It looks strong and sealed, but it could have been smoother.

Yes I did think none or maybe Empriente. That seems to be the best. Very disappointing. France is so rare too. I’ll wait for another monogram and decide from there. LV need to step things up charging these prices and huge increases but we still will buy even though we complain lol

I could not find a PM I could accept on my first 2 attempts. I then bought a Cluny BB and 6 months later, an acceptable PM showed up again and I got it :lol: So sometimes you can put it on hold for a while, or buy something else.

I’m holding out for another Metis mono. My SA said she can’t guarantee where it’s made which I know. I love MIF and somehow knew it was too good to be true and that it would have some sort of issue. It’s the only bag I need for my collection. I had the older version which cracked, exchanged for something else and ever since I’ve missed it. Thought I’d take a chance and get another one since LV has said they’ve improved them but who really knows ‍♀️

If that bag is your white whale, you just need to try, and try again. Sooner or later a bag will be acceptable, and you can start loving it like its meant to be :loveeyes:
