No, I live in Germany. And whenever I order something online it always comes from France.
I purchased one this past weekend in Las Vegas, date code SD3420. The only thing bothering me is the right side is slanted where you put the strap the left looks good. Also, the top handle is definitely not centered. Any advice? I might be over thinking after reading this forum

Thank you just want to make sure it looks normal to other owners! I have been stressing over the first picture of how slanted it is

hoping someone can help me please. So I’ve previously ordered and returned 3 Pochette Metis (posted about it in LV in Europe - chat thread, don’t know how to link it here) they all had some fault or another. My mother knowing I really liked the bag has ordered me it as an early birthday present before the price increase!
Due to the previous issues I had she actually ordered 2 to hopefully get a good one. Anyway both have arrived without any hardware protectors, the first came without a receipt, and I need to return it as the handle is splitting! The second amazingly is quite good
But what we noticed despite the first having a date code from the 32nd week of this year and the second from the 34th week and both being made in France, the hardware & engraving is different, also there’s a little dot on the right above the ‘Vuitton’ that is raised on the left one and flat on the right!
Are these both genuine? I’m worried as they had no hardware protectors they might be returns and what if someone returned a fake or something!! I can’t remember how the hardware on the previous ones looked, I’ve been trying to look through some pics here but a few are blurry of the engraving or I can’t see the “dot”! If anyone could post photos of theirs I would really appreciate it

You should keep the best strap and the best bag and send the other two back even if you have to mix and match. These little bags are so cute, but also so difficult to find without issues!

I know it’s crazy how hard it is to get one with no issues, it’s taken us 5 orders total to get a decent one!!!
LADIES is my date code in correct? SD3420? Shouldn't it have to be SD3240?? Please help
I think that would mean yours is made in 2040!
The one I just got is BA3240. But maybe they’re in the process of changing the format of the date codes, and instead of second and fourth numbers representing the year it will be third and forth from now on?! But I don’t know!
Did you purchase from the LV store or site? If so I’d call them and ask!
Anybody else noticed this: the part where strap attaches is pointing out from the bag. Here Reverse Metis (2020) compared to Empreinte (2018). Wonder if this is a design to try to get the metal part of the strap away from the glazing on the strap to avoid the common issues.

Joined the club! Picked her up today. Edited to add: I’m brand new to LV but I think I’ve interpreted the date code as 35/20 MIF.
Can you purchase from the US site and ship to Australia? I’d be nervous about having to exchange and the current postage issues.
