Hi all! I was wondering what would be considered a good price for a pre-loved OM pochette? I just got one for $189.00 from 2001 in fairly good condition. It had a bit of patina and all the hardware is still gold (though not as shiny as new). Is that a good price? I'm so bummed because there was one in good condition for $160 and I after I was done logging into Paypal, it said it had already sold :doh::sad: Was the $160 one a fluke? Or will I be able to find that again? This one is a gift, I would like to eventually buy one for myself though maybe I will just get new....

(I'm not buying new for the gift because the receiver will feel too guilty over the cost, so this is a compromise :hrmm:)

That price is inline and maybe even better than what I’ve seen in the LV Facebook group (and their resale prices are better than the resale sites like Fashionphile...). The problem is timing, This bag and the Mini Pochette and all LV SLGs are so popular for holiday presents and most are sold out at LV so that’s driving up the prices in the resale market. $160 for one in great shape is really low, imo.

Ah ok, thanks! I was happy to find one under $200 at least even if I missed the $160 one. Maybe I will wait til after the holidays to find one for myself then. Do you know how much the typical pre-loved price is when it's not holiday season? Just trying to figure out what to look for :) Thanks!

So I told myself I'd just wait until January to find myself an OM pochette on eBay but the other day I was at the mall doing some returns and decided to drop by Louis Vuitton just to see if they had any in stock. Alas they did not. She said there were only 39 in the country and closest to me was Rodeo Drive in LA and Vegas - no thanks, too far! I asked if she thought there would be more stock after the holidays and she said maybe, or that it may be phased out completely. Then showed me how there are 81 backorders but they aren't getting filled and recommended that I just keep checking the site.

Disappointed I went home and figured that most likely I would have get an OM on eBay if I wanted one at all. But the same day I decided to refresh my wishlist on the LV site and lo-and-behold the pochette was "Add to Bag" instead of "Call for Availability"! I quickly snatched one up and it shipped yesterday! So excited! I hope they don't discontinue it but I'm glad I was able to grab one.

It's here! They delivered a day early. I'm now officially part of the club.

I was lucky enough to get one Made in France :)

I got this chain to go with it hoping it would be like the Pochette Felicie chain but it's not. The links are larger which doesn't look as nice with this small of a bag (imo). The quality is not as nice either. I'll use it for now since I want to use it crossbody but I'll probably end up buying an ebene strap from MCraft on Etsy.
