hello ladies, hope you all doing well.

I'm trying to build a new bracelet, I want something blue and I want charms that give me positive thoughts and bring me good luck :D now everything im sure that i like, only between 2 charms i dont know which to pick. either the family forever one or the clove field charm as lucky clove has good meaning.any input:graucho: TIA
I feel like the clover fits better; from the pictures, the family charm looks a bit too large for that section of the bracelet.

I much prefer the clover!

This thread feels quiet lately. Hoping it fires up again when the fall charms release. Bought a safety chain yesterday.

What an absolutely gorgeous safety chain, brae; I love it! Forgive my ignorance, but a SA told me that they shouldn't be screwed onto the threads of the bracelet, but left against the threads - as yours is in the photo. Is that how you wear yours? Was he right? I'd never realised that before, if so! ;)

The two tone safety which I have also, goes on the threads at the end. They are meant to cover the threads. The SA is clearly useless. There is another type of safety chain that clips on the bracelet, these the two tone one as well as the silver ones, screw on. Hope that helps.

Lovely, I have the same safety chain and love mine too. I paid the full price as I wanted it straight away and got it from a store. It definitely is too expensive for what it is. Even at £50, it would still be expensive. At £100 I think they are taking our eyes out but know we will pay it so won't ever be reduced.

Gorgeous bracelet by the way.

I feel like it's more of a personal preference? I don't think there's any 'supposed' way of doing it, because the safety chains fit on the threads fine and aren't damaged by them/don't damage them, but some people may feel unsafe because when they unclasp their bracelet, the safety chain might thread off.

I've seen people who thread the safety chain onto the blocked end of the thread, but on the open end they have a clip after the safety chain for double protection (leaving the end thread empty). I personally hate that look, but it's extra protective especially if you have a lot of more expensive charms.

Thank you, Tabitha. :-) It did surprise me, I must admit ... The reason it came up was because I told him that the looser end often unthreads and moves down the bracelet, to which he replied, "They aren't supposed to be screwed on." o_O Hey ho ... He did make a prize codge of measuring my daughter's wrist, too, and didn't seem sure where you measured the bracelet, ie from extreme end to end or between the lock and the far end. I left totally baffled ... Perhaps you could clarify this for me, too?! :-)

Thank you for your comments, mysapphiresky. :-) I couldn't see why the chain wouldn't fit onto the threads, but he was quite adamant ... o_O I don't think I'd wear a clip as well, but I don't want it to fall off and potentially lose my charms, either!

Which reminds me - I need to post some pics of my little collection ... ;-)

No...not right! The screw on ones go over the threads, the clip on ones go before the threads; on the actual bracelet.

End to end, including the clasp! For a full bracelet, you would want to add about 3cm to wrist measurement or more if you planned on having a lot of muranos. :)

I know you got your answers, haha but I'll add that with this safety chain, the sucker will eventually screw itself on even if you leave it off the threads.
