I am another one who's confused about the safety chain issue - can't decide which one to get for my bracelet. SAs in different shops seem to give different advice which doesn't help (one, last week, told me that the clip-on safety chains are supposed to cover the threads… and tried to prove it  )

The real problem is that I don't like the designs of any of them! I'd prefer two-tone but hearts or flowers are not my thing… gold would be best but, again, flowers… I think I want clip-on (because to me it seems safer) but the swirly silver wouldn't match my bracelet….

...not enough choice
Totally agree about the not enough choice thing. The only safety chain I really really like is the two-toned one, and I'm not fond enough of any of the silver ones to go "oh I definitely am going to get that instead because the two-toned is too expensive".

Also, that clip-on SA and the one who talked about threading on safety chains are idiots. Pandora needs to screen their staff better!

The clip on safety chain will not clip onto the end threads as those threads are too big. What about the rain drop screw on safety chain?

Where on earth do they get these staff from?! They seem so clueless! Pandora is such a specific type of jewellery that you would think people who applied would be Pandora lovers. Just imagine if we all worked in a store? We would be the employee of the month, every month!

You get to be employee of the month! You get to be employee of the month! EVERYBODY gets to be employee of the month!

I have been tempted to apply to work at Pandora, but then I think about the average human intelligence level and realise that half of them are dumber than that, and I rethink my life choices.

Yes I agree. I think these must be the specifications: slim, miserable and never smile, know nothing about Pandora, lazy, dress nice, dumb, being a bimbo helps, young (like no older than mid 20s), lack of reading skills (so no need to read up on the latest Pandora items), ***** and be unpleasant to customer, need to master the art of looking down ones nose! I am sure this applies to a lot of the staff who work in Pandora, but then there are the small percentage who are really helpful and lovely.

Oh god that sounds like my personal version of hell.

But yes, I agree, I've met a few staff that are truly lovely. One of them even recognised and greeted me and my mum the second time we saw her (about a month later), even before we had acknowledged any of the staff yet.

The branch in Sunderland are always nice and helpful but the branch in the Metro Centre are seriously so miserable! I really want to ask them if they are ok?! Never do they smile, seems so stuck up and look you up and down like you can't afford anything. I hate going in there. It's always empty (which is probs cos no one feels comfortable going there!). The Leeds branch were the best. Super helpful amd friendly.
