The seller is a piece of work.We have gone back and forth the last 30 minutes.

When I say rough the inside is rough and looks like its gold plated.It looks like it has bite marks everywhere on it in the inside.He's upset but said to send it back he doesn't care one way or another.I can't wait till its over.I'm going to buy a brand new one off the site tonight or from someone I know and trust.

thanks for all your help everyone.i've reported him.he told me to ship back and continued to email me.he called me out of my name and was just going on and on about nothing.i would never keep anything in my possession real or not from someone like that.i've never had such a bad transaction in my life. :(

Oops! Sorry. I didn't realize that 585 was 14kt gold - I can't afford gold charms. Lol. I thought gold was always marked 14kt or 18kt. I thought the clasp looked funny but I was thinking it should be silver/ grey not the "goldish" brown color. Oh well! :smile1: I learned something new today!

Done a bit more research for Tanj:

The bracelet is 3 mm snake chain. If you can coil it neatly around a pencil and it is very flexible it is fake. If it is stiffer and can't be wound neatly around a pencil then it a special run of snake chain for Pandora and therefore possibly genuine.

Now I have a few Pandora questions of my own ...

1) What happened to the HUGE muranos that were around not long ago? They only just came out ... where did they go? Were they a limited edition thing or something?

2) On the front of my brochure there is a picture of a heart shaped silver pendant with a rhodolite stone in the centre. Its not INSIDE the brochure though! I have tried to google and the only thing I can find with it on is a Pandora advert for Mothers' Day. Was this a limited pendant for Mothers' Day?

I don't know about the UK but the oversized muranos are still available here and in fact, more will be coming out in the Fall 2011 collection.

The heart shaped silver pendant came out in Spring 2011 (it does not mention weither it's limited edition or not)...it's still available here...along with the matching bead...HTH

Thanks - I'll check my store to see if they have the heart shaped silver pendant - perhaps its just not in the brochure yet. :smile1:

They're all still available here in Australia, I haven't heard of the Mothers' Day releases only being limited editions. Have you checked out all the usual UK online pandora retailers. I just looked up Mememe, can't find the pendant, but they don't claim to stock everything all the time do they?

So you'll definitely send it back? It looked a lot like mine, reallly (and I got mine from a jeweler the end of February). Mine also does not have the crown. The newer ones do. I've heard they are selling the one's w/o the crown, becasue not as many get sold -- so the jewelers don't get more stock because they are not done with the current supply. Fewer people buy the two-tones. But if it makes you nervous, definitely get a different one.

Oh,, interesting test!!! I don't feel like pulling all my charms off of any of my bracelets to see if it's true! LOL! But I will next time I have a blank!
