Thanks Kasey. I would take it to the local repair company in my town but I'm paranoid that they will ruin it. I contacted the seller about this and I'm trying to work this issue out with her. I'm never buying any RM with this hardware anymore. I should've known better. Oh well, this is a hard lesson learned.

And also, RM did reply back and as I expected, they can't repair it anymore since it's way out of their warranty. They did recommend a repair shop but it's in NYC and I'm from California. Oh well.

If you are close to Beverly Hills I can recommend a repair shop that works with a lot of luxury brands.

Anthrosphere- I’m so sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the leather quality of your Mini Sydney Crossbody! We use a number of different leathers from season to season, which is possibly why the leather on your Mini Sydney Crossbody wasn't the exact same as other RM handbags from previous seasons. However, I am happy to confirm that the Mini Sydney Crossbody is made with Genuine Leather. :tup:

Also, per repair inquiry- Rebecca Minkoff stands behind its merchandise with a two-year warranty on products purchased from an Authorized Full-Price Retailer. We are more than happy to handle complimentary repairs for issues resulting from company acknowledged/approved manufacturing defects within this two-year period. Our repair warranty does not cover general wear and tear damage, handbag restoration, cleaning, or defects that happen on handbags that were made over two years ago.

It's tricky to repair older RM handbags because we use a number of different materials each season and order those materials based upon production. We typically only have spare parts available to fix handbags from our most recent seasons.

That being said, you're in luck because I was able to find ONE last silver clasp that matches your handbag!!! Look out for a message from me to get your shipping information, and then I'll send the replacement clasp right away! :yahoo:

HappySilly- The Palo Alto Crossbody is very similar to the MAC Daddy indeed. The Palo Alto Crossbody is supposed to be geared towards a techie interest. It fits an iPad or iPad Mini and features one card slot and a padded interior pocket to protect your iPad. Here are the exact dimensions of the Palo Alto Crossbody: 8.86" H x 15" W x 3.25" D. I hope this helps!

HavPlenty- We have made the Perry Satchel in Camel, Black, White, Light Turq, Hot Red, Tortora, and Peachy in previous seasons. I have seen RM bags for quite some time, didn't purchase any until the day I saw a Bowery satchel in true turquoise color. The design is smart, I like how it changes looks just by tuck the "wings" (the sides) in, also likes the roomy and lighter colored interior.

I like the quality on the leather and the hardware also loves the saturated blue turquoise color. Craftsmanship is good, the reason I don't say excellent is the stitching on body of the bag is great (5 of 5) but not so good on the handles (2 of 5), as if those parts were made by two different levels of craftsmen. But overall, love this bag and leads me to seek for more RM bags, especially in shades of purple, pink and red. Looking forward to seeing your new designs :-)

When will you introduce patterns and different colors I love the palm tree print on the mini mab tote. But that isn't a everyday print, also the animal print is sort of boring what about some new fresh prints. Also bring back the mustard mini mab tote and forest green mini Mab tote and more bright but versitle colors I do love the bag and structure though.

Are you planning on restocking the guitar straps soon? I'm so bummed that I missed out on the embroidered strap. Please make more! Preferably with different colors and patterns, too. :D

And by the way, what is the name of this bag? I saw it on RM's instagram but I can't seem to find it on her site. I did see a similar one on Nordstrom but that one has drawstrings on it. Any info on it would be great, thank you.

As a compulsive buyer of your bags, I was wondering

- Are we going to get more colors for the Jules satchel? I'm not a real fan of suede, so I'd love to have more color options in smooth or pebbled leather.

-Are you going to release more styles in the color sandstone? I'm completely obsessed with it, so I'd love to have a mini Perry, a full-sized MAC, or a Love clutch in that color.

- Speaking about Perrys and Macs, are the full size versions ever coming back?

- Finally: Please open a store in Paris, France. Your brand is very well-known here so it's a shame that we don't have a store yet. I know we can order online, but it's really not the same experience.

Hi RM team,

I bought the Line Quilted Julian Backpack in color port few weeks ago, only used it 3 times and after the last use, noticed many spots where the color came off and it actually stained my white t-shirt. Can I return it or get it exchanged?

Hi, I returned an opal Mini Mac because it came to me damaged, the leather part of the strap was already starting to peel, the return was received this past Tuesday, signed for by an employee it's Saturday and I still have not received an email stating my return was received or anything. Is this the normal waiting time? I'm starting to get worried. I sent a couple emails and so far only have gotten the automated response that someone will get back to me, that was two days ago. Any help would be appreciated.

I asked the same question about the Perry months ago. The answer was they were out of stock. I like the mini but I prefer the large ones.
