Nicole,
Has the team ever considered making the handles on the MABs and MAMs any longer? Maybe just an inch or two to allow for a more comfortable over the shoulder fit? Also, is an adjustable strap possible for these classic bags rather than the one length that they come in now? We're all different heights and sizes and sometimes one size does not fit all. Love them regardless but would be happier with a little extra shoulder space or for the MABs/MAMs to hit mid to low hip if worn cross body.

Could you let us know if there are pockets on the inside of the NYC mini MACs? It seems like the number of interior pockets keeps getting reduced to the point of none inside of the Spring 2012 mini MACs

Hi girls!

We are launching an exciting new section exclusive to our site for old-school RM styles, and a few fun new twists on Classic styles that are all made in NYC. I wanted to let everyone on TPF know about these special bags before anyone else!

The Mini MAC interior is very close to the MAC interior. It has two cell phone pockets on one side, and a zip pocket with metro card slot on the other side.

We are so excited to have this amazing new category and would love to make it permanent!

We would really love to keep adding and offering some great old school styles. If there are any HG's out there that anyone has been looking for let us know so that we can work on bringing them back!!

Hi Nicole,

I'm a die hard fan of the Matinee - all those pockets help keep me organized and the length of the handles are great for being able to wear it over the shoulder. I would love to see the Mattie come back with some of the classic color options like Glazed Espresso, Jade, Light or Dark Grey, Midnight, or even some of the fun newer colors like Raspberry, Taupe or Butter.

Any chance that some full size bags will be coming out in purple in the near future? The last purple RM I got was Christmas time, I got the purple Nikki on the Black Friday sale. Waiting for more purple, I got a black Nikki, Teal Nikki, and a Grey Matinee. I'm dying for some new purple RM. Grape, Amethyst, Purple Alligator, Violet, Jammin, even Concord or Eggplant, anything that says "I'm Purple!". My birthday is just under 2 months away, and DH wants me to start looking for my birthday bag. Any purple on the horizon?

I would love to see more MAB/MAM with different colored/textured trim e.g handles/bottom/front flap. Do take into consideration the color choices. For example, while contrasting colors can look nice at times, I feel like the colors of the recent bubble MAM with contrasting trim do not go well together.

Please bring back the stamped MAB/MAM especially the black with blue trim. I have been searching for one for a long time.

Also bring back other black and white lining favorites like the mosaic and paisley.

Hi RM team!!! ITA w/ Pandafan!! really hope this "Made in NYC" section is a permanent fixture on rm.com!! i'm such a huge fan of the haze leathers and have been looking for a purple haze zip MAM since I started my RM collection!! I would LOVE (ok more like faint/squeal/be in a tizzy) if the gorgeous zip MAMs/MABz in HAZE leathers and gunmetal hw were to be back!!!! i wasn't around when these were released but i truly think these were some of the most amazing style +leather + hardware combos RM has ever released!!! (and i know many many minkettes on here would agree) i know there was orange, purple, black, and brown. AND the infamous "deep turquoise" that is not haze, but is sooo gorgeous with the gunmetal hw that i think i may possibly go nuts if i ever see one back for sale!! and if the haze leathers are discontinued, i would be just as happy to see the zip style come back in updated leathers and hardware!! thanks for letting me share my thoughts!!


****UPDATE: since posting this earlier today, i think the RM fairy heard me and answered my prayers cause a lovely fellow minkette listed her PH ZIP MAM (which also happens to be signed by RM - OMG SUPER FANTASTIC UNBELIEVABLE BONUS!!!) and now IT'S MINE!! with this being said, as stated above, I still would LOVE to see the zip MAMs/MABs make a comeback on the "Made in NYC" section!!! THANKS SO MUCH RM TEAM!!!!

1) Sage Stamped MAM with brass hardware
2) Zip MAM/MAB as aptly described by ceedoan! I'm in mad search for a Deep Turquoise MAB!
3) ITA agree with tastangan about MAB/MAM with different colored/textured trim e.g handles/bottom/front flap! Example, Emerald Croc MAM, Iris w/ Purple Lizard trim MAM, etc.
4) Full size Matinees in thick chewy leather and a variety of colors!

I would love if the 'classic' Matinee style (or Mini-Mattinee) came back, especially with Suede accents. Any bright, fun colors. I also have been on a mad-quest for a good GREEN RM bag. I'm especially looking for a Leaf Green MAM, but I also would love the Emerald leather.

My dream bag would be an Emerald Mini-Matinee with Suede Flaps. I know it doesnt exist....but if there was one i'd buy it in a heart beat .

Looks like a new purple called Viola is coming out... So far I see it will come out in the Desire style. It's really pretty! What do you think?
