The 'micro' bag trend. Lovin' it? Or not?

I think they're cute on other people, but definitely not for me - if I want to accessorize I'll do it using other accessories (jewellery, watches, shoes, scarves, etc.). For me, my bag needs to fit everything I don't want to carry in my hands and wearing multiple bags just looks messy in my opinion.

That's a very good point. Carrying multiple handbags can look messy and uncoordinated. I do like the Valentino styling though...

I have recently downsized from my Neverfull to a Celine nano. Amazing for my shoulders and wallets. But my small bag has to be ,at least, fit my umbrella and sunglasses. Non negotiable!!!!

Hubby used to buy these mini bags for me when we were dating..I had one from Prada that was smaller than my hand! Did not even use it once..[emoji30][emoji30]

Those bags are too small. I like smaller bags as long as I can fit my compact powder and lipstick, I'm all good but you can't even put anything in those bags. And with the prices? I'm not that fashionista.

Thank you!

The virtuosity it requires to construct micro bags often gets my appreciation. I know many beleaguer the price point of micros due to amount (or lack thereof) of materials, but to me, they're well-worth it for the attention to detail and intricacy that goes into production. I can't sew for the life of me, so can only imagine the skill and patience it requires to create the pattern, cut the pieces of materials, then try to put it all together.

I have this little Ferragamo Fiamma that DH bought for me and I haven't known what to do with it. I've had it for at least a year and a half and have worn it about eight times. Your are giving me new inspiration. I love your Tod's mini bag in that sublime color and your small bags look wonderful on you. Ayyy your collection! Wow.
Above are a couple of mod shots of the Fiamma. The bag is constructed so beautifully, with matching soft leather interior even the little pocket, that it's hard for me to believe that the large size is done this well.
