Well since my post asking how others were finding their totes. I did end up returning it at the time.
But I then bought it again last NAP drop and the black flamma too.
So I have both camello rosa and back flamma now. Still deciding on them but I am pretty sure I'll end up keeping both.

I wear my purses on my shoulder and I had been trying to find the perfect work tote. The same day that I found this, I was literally scouring SF for that perfect work tote. I found this one online at Barney's though. I wonder how the color will be after wear (this one is sand). Nevertheless, can't wait to take this beauty out.

I ended up returning my two, I feel I won't use them I just wanted them for my "collection".
A bit too wide open for me and the only place I'd actually use them I'd want something more secure anyway.
So I'm going to get a lady bag which is kind of a secured tote in a way.

Too bad you feel that way. I love my totes as work bags. Sadly, I don't use the lady bags as much as they are so cumbersome to get into. I purchased a zippered purse to go for my totes, which makes them quite secure.

I love my tote for when I need to carry loads of stuff but understand your concerns with the openess of tote. Lady bags are STILL available at the relaunch!

Yeh I just know I wanted them to have them but I won't use them if that makes sense. I don't need alot for work so taking one there is overkill and anywhere I'd need to take alot I'd be needing something more secure. When I'd put them down they just gape open. Just not for me. I do love them and love the look but no point keeping them just to sit in dust bags.

I see the lady bags still available but I don't want to order direct because of exchange rate and shipping. I'm sure a stockist will have one priced better early next year so I'll hold off for now.

Today I received my large tote in brandy. But as I took the bag out of the box, I thought it looked smaller than expected. So i tried to measure it but since we use the metric system it's not very accurate. The height and depth seams to be right. But the width is only about 15.75 inches. Could someone with a large tote measure their tote? Thanks a lot.

Hello all, I will be joining this thread soon as I just purchased my first MG tote in black with flamma interior....eeeeek! I have a couple of questions. I plan to use this as my work bag. How sturdy are the staps. They seem thin but so are the straps on my LV Neverfull and that bag can hold a ton. Is this true for the tote as well? TIA

I have loaded my tote up for travel. The straps have gotten softer (I've had my tote a little over a year) but I've never felt like they were going to break or anything.

I own the Cammello raw small tote and it was one of the first MG pieces I have in my MG collection. I've used this one the most for about 3 years. I am very rough on it; I am a CPA and carry pounds of paper in it and it has served me well. The straps are sewn on very sturdy as well. I liked this so much that after this one I got the black and brandy. You'll enjoy using your bag for many years.

Thank you both for replying. It is good to know about the quality of the straps because I planned to load it down with stuff since it will be my work bag. It is supposed to arrive today and I can't wait!

Hi I've made a review video on my black/fiamma large tote which I've had for 6-7 months.

https://youtu.be/5ENNMtqqOy4

I mentioned some pros, cons, wear and tear and shopping tips in the video. You guys have helped me a lot when I decided to buy the bag and I thought this is the best way to give back to the community! Hope the video will help some of you make your decision :)
