ETA: Just realized that 1999 isn't exactly "vintage" in the true sense of the word. Maybe I should have said 'pre-loved'! That's more accurate
My new to me speedy 30... It is currently at The LV store in Saks and I requested it get the full replacement of her leathers for $630 (this was a snap decision with no research... Shaaaame, I know!)
However, given that she is from '92, I did not want the date code removed and he is to find out if that is possible
Think I should opt for handle replacement only ($140) or for both handle and chape replacement ($280)?
Piping is $210 and both tabs are $140, zipper pull is free
The chapes look pretty good and the piping doesn't look terrible but I believe he said if they do piping they also have to do the tabs... Think the tabs could dress up with the LMB and be ready for the party?

She looks to be a beauty! I'm such a vintage lover that I always try to 'fix' the problems first (within reason!) and then see what else can be done.....but not everyone is comfortable trying to do that and I totally understand.My new to me speedy 30...
