Ebene --> Eb-en-a
That one should be more of Eh-ben
The e at the end is silent.
I pronounce "patina" with the accent on the first syllable (pat-in-a). That's actually the way the ancient Romans pronounced it. (Sorry I took seven years of Latin) You can say pa-tee-na though.
Also, depending on the dialect (in high school, I had one teacher from Paris, and another from Germany) you would say vwee-ton with a soft "n" for Vuitton. I cringe when I hear va-ton like it rhymes with a baton. I can't say that when I go to the store, sorry! Maybe we can call the corporate office in Paris and see how they answer the phone?
Poudre would be pu-druh or you could probably say poo-druh and they'd get it!
How about Idylle and Fusain pronunciation? Lol...just don't wanna feel dumb mispronouncing!
Can anyone help with saying the color blanc "corail"? I know blanc but the online dictionary for corail's audio is sooo difficult to understand!Thanks!
cawh-hrai-el
Thanks! Really??I've been searching a bit and French speaking people seem to say it "cohr-RYE" like the bread... ?
