the only reason I can for the life of my pronouce some of the names of the bags can be chalked up to the six years I took french

but mind you I can't speak french to save my life let alone recall enough to have a conversation with another person :s

LOL me too alvie. What were we doing in French class?
I can read a book and make sense of what's going on but it takes forever. Conversation-wise I'm at 2 year old level.

I'm fortunate. I don't have this problem. My husband is fluent in French. It's his native language (He's from the French Caribbean originally). If I don't know how to pronounce something I always ask him. I speak French also (We've been married many years now so I've picked it up), but I'm not as fluent as he is---even in 15 years of marriage...lol-- I still sound like an American Tourist trying to speak French...lol. Our kids are better than I am. It really is more difficult to learn and retain as you get older....

Most things--like the LV bags--I know how to pronounce but I always go over the names of bags I like and not sure how to pronounce with him first....

I don't know, but I hate it when SA corrects you. Of course they know the correct pronounciation since they work there. I asked my friend to get me the Azur Pampallone from Dubai, she ended up asking for the Papillon. It was so funny.

i'm like john5... i know cles is "clay" and i have to pause and think before i say it..

I always used to think the Reade was pronounced as "reed-y" but my SA corrected me and it's "reed"'

Géant - I think shjay-ahnt (not two distinct sounds, rather, kind of slur them together)
Citadin - see-ta-dan

Pretty sure with Geant, not too sure with Citadin
the "shjay" kind of hard to explain...it has the "shh" and also the "j" sound
